There is no doubt how much I love this van. Our family had out grown our Buick Regal and it was time for a new car. I wanted a van because of all the trips we like to take as a family and the work I do.
So I went in search of the perfect van . I...

Pros: 7-passenger seating, power door Cons: must buy rear heat & air ducts, pop out passenger window hard for kids
As a former owner of the "dustbuster" series of GM vans (Pontiac Transport) we were excited when GM introduced this updated style. We have six members in our family so a sedan just would not cut it. The Venture is very flexible as family needs...

Pros: Great Mileage, Built in Child Safety Seats! Cons: Can't change seat configuration in ours
When I became a rep for HP, we decided that although my Honda Accord was a terrific car, that there just wasn't enough room for all the boxes of POP I had to carry and a stoller and a portacrib for my one year old at the time. Plus her car seat looked...

Pros: This Van i find spacious, and the seats are easy to remove and replace quickly. Cons: Some repairs can be costly, The dealer wanted to maintain too many things.
The Bottom Line: Find one, buy one, save it as a hand me down. Someone will love this one after upgrading from decade old mod's of transport.
All my life I wanted a sports car. I can remember sitting on the street corner watching the 'Knight Riders' drive by. After a decade of owning subpar vehicles, from my first 1985 Buick to the 85 Ford Ranger, i never thought i would own a van. ...

Pros: Roomy, easy to use, good gas mileage Cons: Molding, cup holders, condensation
The 1998 Chevy Venture makes a mother's, or father's life, much easier. The power sliding door acts as the third hand that parents often need in everyday life. Trying to juggle a crying infant and a struggling toddler leaves only a finger or two to...

Pros: seats 7, comes with 3 or 4 doors, power everything Cons: only a v6? give me power! Back seats not very comfortable
This minivan is Chevy's jump into the world of minivans. I suppose that Chevy figured if every other company can sell a minivan, so could they. Well, I suppose a minivan is a minivan, but the 1998 3-door version left much to be desired.
The...

As one who was reluctant to buy a GM vehicle, and a little put off by the size of vans, I'll admit our purchase of a '98 Chevy Venture has been a pleasant surprise. We've put 30,000 miles on the van in 21 months, and it continues to be a quiet,...

After driving the Caravan, Windstar, and the Odyssey we ended up opting for the GM minivan trio. After checking around and speaking to other owners, we found out the Ford is the safest, but that's the only thing it has going for it. The Dodges we drove...

We love our 1998 Chevy Venture. It's great when you need to seat 7 or remove the seats for more storage room.
