Pros: Smooth Ride Cons: Light Weight Bed,
Since purchasing my “Air Force Blue” Ford F-150 XLT Styleside truck, I have learned to appreciate the added benefits of owning a full size truck over a normal mid-size automobile. These benefits include: elevated sitting height--which is nice in traffic...

Pros: Nice power, comfortable, can see ahead in traffic. Cons: Box is tall, turning off ignition cumbersome. Large The Bottom Line: Drives smoothly, great stereo sound, nice get up and go. It is a joy to drive. When backing into a parking space, you probably cannot touch bumpers, too high.
Go Big Red is what our F150 seems to shout to everyone who looks on. This flashy red truck with a V-6 and 5 speed manual transmission seems to have enough power for me and can spin tires without even trying. We purchased her recently from Jim's...

Pros: relatively refined ride and handling, good power , reliable, good looking Cons: Hard seats and awkward driving position for my body type.
We purchased this truck for my wife to drive. Why a pickup truck for a woman who works in an office building? Safety, for starters. For about $20,000 you can have a reasonably comfortable and liveable vehicle that weighs 4,000 lbs and will be safer in...

Pros: Rugged, very stylish, great air-bag safety feature, lots of leg room Cons: Rattles a bit, mediocre gas mileage
I still remember the day like it was yesterday. The day I got my first truck. Granted, our family has been driving SUV's and trucks for years, but this was MY first truck. All mine.
My husband and I had been wandering around the car lot,...

Pros: Great ride, handling and power Cons: Questionable long term endurance and maintenance requirements
This is a great-driving vehicle. Smooth, powerful and tight, my 1998 F150 4x4 off-road package Lariat SuperCab has, overall, been a great lease ride. The leather interior of the Lariat is sharp and wears like iron. Controls are well-placed and easy to...

Pros: Comfy, good handling, impressive gas mileage Cons: Break problems and recalls. The Bottom Line: A few problems at first, but trouble free for the past two years. Nice ride and we love the 3rd door.
We Needed A Truck
In 1998 we purchased a new Ford F-150 crew cab. Our decision to buy this truck was based on the price - we needed a truck mostly to pull our camp trailer. We were also picking up day old food from a local grocer and...

Pros: Best Bang for the Buck, Gas Mileage Cons: Bad stereo and console, small back seat
I bought my F150 just over a year ago and I have had plenty of time to formulate an opinion. . .
I decided to buy a full size pickup since I was in the military and figured I would be moving a lot. I had been looking at the Ford F 150 and the...

Pros: dependability, comfortable, smooth ride Cons: Obnoxiously big
Ford has been the chosen manufacturer for all of the cars provided by the company my husband works for. Having come from a Ford Windstar van, I have to say he was a little concerned about how the F150 would ride, especially since he puts about 4,000...

Pros: Strong engine, safe, roomy, comfortable, easy to drive. Cons: Don't have any except my husband won't let me drive it all the time.
I know this probably seems strange that I am writing this opinion instead of my husband but I love this truck. When I was 7 months pregnant with our second child my husband decided that we need a family car. I know this does not seem like a family car...

Pros: Durable, Good looking truck, comparably priced Cons: NONE
My husband will ONLY drive a Ford F-150! His first truck was an F-150. He bought it new in 1977! He used this truck for his farm needs as well as everyday driving. This particular truck is still being used today but only as a farm truck.

Pros: It's the "basic" pick-up... meant for work... but this one's nice enough for play as well. Cons: None to date.
My father's 1998 Ford F-150 is just another in the long list of Ford's he's owned. Dating back to 1969, every new vehicle he's purchased has been from the Ford family!
The 1998 F-150 is a middle-of-the-road vehicle. Not 4WD, and not an...

Pros: Triton V8 Cons: The Size
This truck is an adventure every time that I step into it. First of all this is by far the larges vehicle that I've been into. The triton V8 engine is so powerful I feel as if I could take on any other car or truck in a race. Outside if you like trucks,...
