Pros: Features, safety, four-wheel drive, comfort, braking, warranty, ride Cons: Reliability, interior materials, heavy, rattles, fit and finish, design not up to Mercedes standards The Bottom Line: Not exactly a true Mercedes-Benz; it has some bad parts. But it has good points, too. Read my review and see why ML320 does not really meet the standards.
Introduction Once in a while there is a car that comes around that either surprised the people in its years, like the original Volkswagen Golf, the famous BMW M1, or the cool 1976 Lotus Esprit, (all designed by Giugiaro) , while the are others ...

Pros: Durability of mechanicals and apperance. Cons: Windshield wiper design. The Bottom Line: Great car to consider if you want agility in a premium sedan.
In honor of my 56th review on this site Sammy Hagar Is my inspiration for this review. At least that song was going though my head when I was driving my Aunts Benz around the beltway (AKA Autobahn) cruising along at 85MPH. The speed indicated ...

Pros: Good Looks, Good all around. Still feels solid after 6 years. Cons: Electrical Components not reliable on my car. The Bottom Line: If this car were still available new, I would probably still consider this.
This is my third Mercedes. It was bought for the wife but she complained that this is too big for her even though her previous car was also a Mercedes E class (1992 model). I ended up driving it and my wife bought a 2000 BMW 328i instead. Cost MSR ...

Pros: Mercedes-Benz. True four-wheel drive. Comfortable to drive. Good highway traveler. Will last hundreds of thousands of miles. Cons: First-year fit and finish quality. Dealer inability to make effective repairs.
Owning the M-Class has been a bit of a love-hate relationship. It is the third Mercedes I've owned - that's the love. It's also been a difficult vehicle to own - the hate.
This is a vehicle that makes it too easy to cruise at 85-95 MPH. And...

Pros: Handling, engine note, bank vault like integrity Cons: Price, equipment ride (in avantgarde models)
A year and a half ago I changed over from a BMW 528i to a Mercedes Benz E320 Avantgarde. So far it has proved to be a decent changeover. The real downsides are to do with the value for money. In Australia this car lists at $135,000, plus another $3000...

Pros: Rugged, solid, and safe feeling. Drives extremely well for an SUV. Cons: StarMark Pre-Owned Certification appears to have meant very little indeed. The Bottom Line: The car is roomy, safe, and rugged. The internal body parts are poor in many cases. Starmark means next to nothing - except as a warranty.
What I am trying to accomplish in writing this review is more of a critique of the Mercedes Starmark Pre-Owned 'Certification' rather than a straightforward critique of the car itself. Forgive me for calling it a 'car' - it's just being used generically....

Pros: Best ride of all SUV's Cons: Poor quality
We bought our ML320 in 1998. We owned several Mercedes and still own a '94 E320 Convertible. We trusted in M-B quality and therefore ordered the ML320 fully equipped without having seen it.
When we got the car the first impression was that the...

Pros: Absolute solid construction, powertrain/transmission performance, outstanding handling. Cons: Poor quality tires from the factory.
I had looked at the new C-Class several times at car shows in Kansas City and read a lot about them, but never really thought I would actually own one. Having turned in a lease, I was looking for another car. I was not satisfied with the sluggish...

Pros: Handling, accelaration, time between services. Cons: 1st year rattles and shakes
Before I post this opinion I need to state a disclaimer. My wife and I presently own 5 Mercedes Benz vehicles.
We purchased this vehicle because we wanted an SUV. Mercedes was the only one considered. We absolutely fell in love with it the...

Pros: Fast, Safe, Comfy Cons: Not outrageously fast, small back seat area
The Mercedes-Benz C 280 is indubitably one of the best cars you can buy for less than $40,000. Although not as powerful as its C 43 sister, she still has plenty of muscle under the hood for those times when you need a little kick in the pants. Sporty,...

Pros: Ample room, good gas mileage, fun to drive Cons: A bit underpowered, below traditional Mercedes standards
I've owned quite a few Benzos in the past, including a 98 C280 Sport and a 96 E320. By far, the ML is much better than any of the others. Given that I'm a big guy, over 6ft tall and 280 lbs. This vehicle provided me with the most comfort during long...

Pros: Drives nice, feels safe. Cons: Too many minor repairs.
I purchased the 1998 ML320 Mercedes Benz because it was named a "Best Buy" in several articles I had read. First mistake - don't believe everything you read. Second mistake - don't ever buy a car when it is in it's first production year. I...

Pros: Smooth ride, lots of space, very safe Cons: Quite pricey
This car is one of the best out on the market. This car is quite pricey, about $75,000 for me, but it is well worth it. Mercedes-Benz S-420 is very roomy and gives you enough room to sleep in it. This car was made to get your from one point to another as...

Pros: holds value really well (as w/ all mercedes), safe, quiet, reliable, definitely one of Mercedes' best Cons: bit expensive for the options, but still worth every penny
A year ago my parents bought a 1998 E320 Mercedes benz, following my recommendation. My parents were in the market to buy a new luxury vehicle because our 1984 500SEL didn't cut it anymore as a car that they could drive to classy, elegant get-togethers....

Pros: Handling, power comfort Cons: Substandard trim quality
A Mercedes Benz for under $35,000,and built in America to boot! What could be better? These were my thoughts prior to the first test ride of the new ML320 just going on sale. I promptly took a test ride and even more quickly, I placed my deposit. A short...
