Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Powerful, high-quality, never any major mechanical problems
Cons: It's not AWD or 4WD, factory speakers pooped out after 7 years
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for quality, reliability, and durability.

This car has served me well while living in the South, the Northeast, and along Colorado's Front Range. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for regular mountain driving, it's perfect for city or highway driving. I'm the original owner of a ... read more

I bought this car with 69000 miles in 2004, very low miles. It's a fun car to drive, much more so than my 1996 Mustang V6. It has very nice low end power, and you can pass easily while on the highway. It's by no means a race car, but has lot of ... read more

Pros: 250k engine, stable, comfortable seats, amenities galore, roomy trunk, inexpensive to own.
Cons: Cruise control switches are misplaced, center arm rest is too low, premium fuel.
The Bottom Line: For under $25,000 you will not find a better car.

I've owned several cars and trucks over the years, and had a few company cars too. All vehicles were American made, except a Mazda, which I owned briefly. None of the vehicles have impressed me like the Maxima SE has. I typically drive 37-40k a year, ... read more
