Pros: Excellent acceleration, Fair price, Supercharged, 240 horsepower. Cons: Exterior styling, Interior styling, only comes with a 4-speed automatic. The Bottom Line: Although large, and dated looking, the Bonneville SSEi is big on thrills and luxury, at a more than decent price.
When the Bonneville was re-introduced for 1992, I wasn’t exactly thrilled. The Bonneville SSEi became a member of GM's H-body full size family sedans, sharing its inner structure with the Oldsmobile 88, Buick Lesabre; cars that were not exactly on my ...

Pros: comfy, great optional features Cons: may be above some budgets
While I didn't necessarily agree with my husband's purchase of the Pontiac Bonneville, it was going to primarily be HIS car, therefore I had little to do with his decision. I've been a Ford Taurus wagon owner and driver since purchasing a 1989 model when...

Pros: Performance, Ride, Gas Mileage, Interior Room Cons: Comfort, Seats, Reliability, Seats, Fit and Finish, Seats The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car. $1200-$1500 in repairs may be a little excessive, but it averages out to about $25 a month. And the car you get is very good.
I bought this car as a program car with 33K miles in 2000. We were extremely impressed with the ride, handling and performance. Interior: Interior is nicely layed out. Gauges are very functional and easy to read. No idiot lights. Radio knobs broke ...

Pros: Sporty, full sized, fun to drive Cons: Needs better tires, different panel lighting
When it comes to mid-priced luxury cars, the Pontiac Bonneville ranks towards the top. Well appointed, spacious and a good drive, the Bonne gives me all that I want in a car and more. Controls are generally at hand, the trunk will handle 2 sets of golf...

Pros: big car, good for every type of person Cons: air bags
We recently bought a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience so far.
The Bonneville has something for everyone. My husband loves it because it has a relatively large motor in it. It goes fast and handles very...

Pros: Performance,Quality,Reliability,Style, Roominess,Comfort,Handling,& Excitement Cons: Having to get out of the Bonneville and put it away for the night. The Bottom Line: I would like another 1998,as our 2nd vehicle, for our daughter is getting our 1998.We're purchasing one of the new(2000-2003)body-style Bonneville's.
We adore our 1998 Bonneville, and it just continues to get better with age. There are few if any surprise (hidden) ownership costs, the fuel economy is excellent as is the performance of the 3800 series II V6, that has the get up an go that most V-6's...

Pros: comfortable and economic transportation Cons: noisy and needs to be driven, not guided
Love my Bonneville, however they have not been able to remove the "shaking" at various speeds although the Service Team has really tried. They made sure I was not too inconvenienced by providing a loaner when necessary. The results are there...
