Pros: great value, comfortable, great pickup
Cons: little head room

After shopping around a great deal, we purchased a 1999 Grand Am last year and absolutely love it. We found the Grand Am the best value for a mid size car. The car handles very well on the road in all weather. The traction control makes it easy to...

Pros: Looks, strong 4-cylinder
Cons: Fit-and-finish, electrical

I purchased a '98 Grand Am GT in February of '98 and have been miffed ever since. Rattles, squeaks, and noises of all sorts are the mainstay of the plastic interior. This is one big complaint. I have always prided myself on taking good care of my car....

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Cheap, looks great, runs great
Cons: not the best engine, to much hype

This car has raised the bar in cheap cars. They seem very durable if you have ever seen lethal weapon four. In the movie it seems you can drive through a building and run over everything and keep on going, not so true. No car can drive through a...

I have heard complaints about the older Grand Am's but I haven't had any excessive problems with my 1999. I bought the car when it wasn't even on the lot yet; I "stole" it from a salesman. After driving a 1985 Chevy celebrity for 4 years I...
