Pros: incredibly reliable handles nice lots of power good on gas great in winter conditions lost of space Cons: it is a van The Bottom Line: Great if you have to buy a used van and want something reliable. I bought mine with just under 20,000 and am now at 300,000 - no trouble!
I hate vans in general so I stupidly did not maintain this vehicle all that well. I change the oil every 20,000 or so - which is apparently a very big no no with these engines because of sludge build up. I changed the timing belt at ... read more

Pros: Runs great, seat positioning is very good. Cons: Had mechanical problems with ours. The Bottom Line: Despite the problems with mechanical parts on the vehicle, it's an excellent drive and very versatile. I love it and would recommend it to others.
I love my Sienna. We bought this Van used with 56k miles on it in the year 2000 it was a top-of-the-line Sienna XLE. Currently in 2004 we have 115k on it and it still runs well. I like having the ability to remove separate seats here and there. We ... read more

Pros: Safety, Comfort, and Side Doors Cons: Paint and Side Doors The Bottom Line: If something were to happen to my '98, I would replace it with another Sienna-no doubt about it.
The Sienna is my fourth, but not final Toyota. After my beloved Camry was totalled, we knew we were going to replace it with another Toyota, but until we test-drove the Sienna, I never dreamed I'd join the mini-van set. The Sienna is built on a ... read more

I wanted a used Minivan and I chose the 1998 Toyota Sienna because of price and because Consumer Reports rated it their best minivan of 1998. That year was Toyota's first venture into minivans so there wasn't much of a history on it. Even so, I trust ... read more

Pros: It's a minivan that drives like a sedan! Cons: We would love for it to have more storage space. The Bottom Line: We love our van! It's family friendly and works very well for us. It's completely reliable - what more could you ask for in a family vehicle?
We've had our van for 3.5 years now and have virtually no problems with it. One and a half years into the life of the van, we had to get a new transmission, courtesy of Toyota. Other than that, we've had no major problems. We've had a problem with the ... read more
