That all changed when I grew up and bought a house. As a new homeowner with a...

I bought this vehicle because I was sick of borrowing friends' trucks. While it took a few weeks (and visits to car dealers) to find one I liked at a decent price, I am happy to say that I found a nice truck at a nice price.

Efficient, low-powered but stubborn even on high hills, ugly and cheap but refuses to die. I love this truck. I commute to work 25 miles on back roads each day, drive my kids around, haul trash to the dump and it does exactly what a small truck is supposed to do. Probably the best $2k I ever spent.

Pros: Styling is great, seating is plush, extended cab helps, stereo is good, fun to drive Cons: power in the 2.4 liter 4 banger, room, ride quality.
The 1999 S10 that I have is a extended cab with the 2.4 liter motor and a five speed. I have a 3 6 drop on it and custom wheels and a flame job.The thing about the s10s are they have good resale value. They really turn heads you fill cool driving it unlike my toyota. It has a small cab which and it rides a little rough even stock you do sit to low but I still recommend it.If you liked it go for it.The bad is its only a 2.4 not a 2.7 like the toyota but a lot of people dont want the v6 so if u find a 1999 s10 get the 5 speed to counter that.It can seat 2 adults and 1 or maybe 2 kids pretty good and be cool crusin in it.Your not going to win any races with it just a heads up but the 99 s10 is a cruiser.
