Pros: Everything! Cons: None! The Bottom Line: I recommend this truck 100%!
Recently we purchased a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 EXTREME. It's white with grey interior. We made a few motifications, a topper and new exhaust, for that low, rumbling sound.
This truck handles great! I love the fact it's an automatic instead of a...

Pros: Reliable and roomy Cons: none
When my husband wanted to get a Chevy truck, I figured it was a "guy thing". I thought it would be a useless toy for him. Boy was I wrong. First off, the ride is fairly comfortable, so it serves as a reliable means of transportation. In...

Pros: great motor Cons: not much leg room
We bought our 1999 S-10 vehicle, because we wanted a new vehicle with a cheap price, with the capability of hauling some small things around. We got a simple s-10, straight shift, and bench seat. It is easy to shift and great on gas. However, there is...

Pros: Price! Price! Price! Cons: Extended cab for extra space only; not for people!
I wasn't really looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle until I drove
past my local Chevy dealer and saw a lineup of about a dozen new S-10
pickups. All were 2 wheel drive, 4 cylinder, 5 speed models, but they
were LS models with...

The Truck That Wouldn't Die (or, unlike a Toyota, wouldn't rust)

Pros: I get 25+ MPG. It will probably run forever but will be ugly always. Cons: The exhaust line design is the stupidest thing that was not designed by Ford.
Efficient, low-powered but stubborn even on high hills, ugly and cheap but refuses to die. I love this truck. I commute to work 25 miles on back roads each day, drive my kids around, haul trash to the dump and it does exactly what a small truck is supposed to do. Probably the best $2k I ever spent.

Pros: Styling is great, seating is plush, extended cab helps, stereo is good, fun to drive Cons: power in the 2.4 liter 4 banger, room, ride quality.
The 1999 S10 that I have is a extended cab with the 2.4 liter motor and a five speed. I have a 3 6 drop on it and custom wheels and a flame job.The thing about the s10s are they have good resale value. They really turn heads you fill cool driving it unlike my toyota. It has a small cab which and it rides a little rough even stock you do sit to low but I still recommend it.If you liked it go for it.The bad is its only a 2.4 not a 2.7 like the toyota but a lot of people dont want the v6 so if u find a 1999 s10 get the 5 speed to counter that.It can seat 2 adults and 1 or maybe 2 kids pretty good and be cool crusin in it.Your not going to win any races with it just a heads up but the 99 s10 is a cruiser.
