Pros: Very Dependable. Cons: Costs too much!
I have had my pickup for a little over a year now and I still love it like the first day when I got it. I have had no problems with it. I did look at other manufactures, but the Silverado had more horsepower, better gas mileage, a better ride and more...

Pros: Big and strong, solidly built. Pretty easy to drive. Cons: Bouncy suspension, frustrating alarm/security system The Bottom Line: All being said, I would strongly consider a Chevy Silverado if I was looking for a big truck. I may opt for the short bed, however.
I borrowed my grandfather's 1999 Chevy Silverado for about 4 days after I sold my car and was shopping for a new one. It is the 4x2, extended cab with the third door on the passenger side, 5.3L V8, auto trans with a "tow/haul" setting. I am not a ...

Pros: Comfortable, Fast, Luxurious Cons: Big, Burns Gas, Some Minor First-Year Bugs.
Interested in buying a new full-sized pickup truck? Then you've probably looked at the Ford F150, The Dodge Ram, and the Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra. While many buyers will gravitate towards a certain brand based on past experience, I was a...

Pros: engine, ride, fun to drive & feel Cons: poor emergency brake pedal placement, only two cupholders
I recently purchased a 1999 Chevy Silverado regular cab, Z71, LS short box. What an outstanding new pick-up! I call it a pick-up, because when people call it a truck, I think of eighteen wheels, B.J. McKay and his best friend Bear. I used to love that...

I purchased a 1999 Chevy Silverado in January of '99. It is a 1500 extended cab, 4X4, w/ Z71 package, almost fully loaded. It is now December and I have over 41,000 miles on it. The truck has great power and it pulls 3 or 4 four wheelers on a 25' trailer...

Pros: Ride, Interior, Power Cons: Styling
The 1999 Chevy Silverado Trucks have to be by far one of the best ever made. Although the new styling is not favored by everyone (including yours truly) it is more than made up for with comfort and power. I have a V6 SWB TX/OK package equipped...
