Pros: FAST, nimble, fun to drive with an excellent soundsystem. Makes you want to drive even when you have no place to go! Excellent visibility gives you full command of the road. Cons: Small back seat - not a family car. Trunk space is limited, so pack lightly for those weekend getaways.
The Paparazzi: They're ALWAYS causin' problems...
Much press has been given to the newly styled 1999 Mustang GT and Mustang SVT Cobra, both good and bad. We were originally attracted to the Mustang GT for its power and speed,...

Pros: price, handling, collectability, style, being a member of the elite Cons: none/ except not having one
I originally bought my mustang because they are legendary and I had wanted one since I was a teenager in the 70's. Oh well, dead give away to my age, but according to dealer survey's people who were teens in the 60's and 70's are there biggest...

Pros: Head-turning style, LOTS of options standard!! Cons: THIS IS NOT A FAMILY CAR!! Consider it a two-seater!
I've drooled over Mustangs since I was 14. When I bought my first - a 1999 - at the age of 23, my eyes were opened to a new level of automobile ownership. I live in a small town, and let me tell you, every head turns when I drive this beauty down the...

Pros: horsepower, smooth ride, handles great Cons: not enough leg room and head room
Well lets see, The Ford Mustang, It goes way back in history as a muscle car of the 60's and 70's but still goes on today. I have never had the thrill of owning a Ford Mustang and probably never will, But my feelings will never change!

Pros: safe, reliable, good gas mileage Cons: small trunk entry The Bottom Line: A safe, sporty car that has few if any mechanical problems.
I love Fords and was ready for a sports car. It is a sporty car and gets decent gas mileage (16 in town, 27 on highway). I never had any problems with the car.
It is a smooth riding car and has plenty of room in the front for two people....

Pros: Mechanically sound, styling, fun to drive Cons: Design(not style), gas mileage, Ford, suspension quality The Bottom Line: Good purchase as I am in college and cannot afford insurance on a GT
I have had my Mustang V6 for almost 87K miles. Here is a quick run-down on my ownership of this vehicle. Repairs (87K miles): 1. Cracked manifold (Class action suit against Ford) 2. Suspension replacement (Ford suspensions are super poor) 3. ...

Pros: Fast, its a mustang Cons: none
Well for surly this isn’t a family car - there’s no room. Nor a exceptional winter car. But this is one hell of a spring, summer, and fall car. Some aspects of this amazing vehicle start with its power steering, on this stiff frame you feel the road....

Pros: Great new body style for a great price! Cons: Loses traction easily on wet roads.
In my opinion one of the better cars of 1999 would be the Ford Mustang. The new model Mustang contains a numerous amount of good characteristics, which, in my opinion, outweigh the seldom-found negative qualities. The 1999 Mustang was given a change in...

Pros: fast (when not in the shop) Cons: back seat big enough for two infants
You know I think back to the nasty car I used to drive and I was happy to get rid of it. I think if you work really hard, you deserve to treat yourself. So at the end of 1999 I bought my mustang. I wasn't too crazy about the new body style at first...

Pros: sporty, inexpensive, fun Cons: not designed to be an automatic
My first car in life was a BMW 320i. It was already eleven years old when I bought it, so needless to say, it was not the best car I ever owned. Then again, whose first car is? After that, I owned a 1992 Ford Explorer. I was very pleased with the...

Pros: American Cons: the 6 cylinder models
I chose this vehicle because of it's history of being a traditional American car. This car has come to symbolize the essence of the American muscle car's and what American car's are about. I think it would be a good idea for ford to bring back the good...

Pros: Fun and Fast Cons: Piece of junk The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a rear-wheel drive speed demon for under $30 grand, then buy one. Just be prepared to spend some time in the shop.
My original review is located a few paragraphs down. Since my Mustang came off warranty, it's needed over $5,000 of repairs that I have detailed immediately below. Update July 2005 on my 1999 Mustang GT (80,000 miles) My intake manifold ...
