Pros: Screamin' performance. Aggressive looks. Innovative Head-Up Display. Excellent ABS.
Cons: "Wider is better" commercials. No manual transmission. Pontiac-styled dash.

That's right, yeeow. "Wow" does not even suffice to describe my recent encounter with a certain Pontiac Grand Prix. I was on a vacation in Nashville, accompanied by a fellow car lover. We were crazy to get our hands on something sporty. ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Fun, fast
Cons: Not much room in back

The Grand Prix has always served me well -- good traction, good stopping, comfortable. It is not a great practical car, since it is still not that roomy in the back seat, but boy is it fun! I highly recommend one today. Be careful at the ... read more

Pros: Good mileage (apx 28+ hwy), great performance, sporty styling.
Cons: none!
If you're looking for a great car - one that gives good mileage, performance, and is fun to drive - these Grand Prixs are hard to top. They're big enough you don't feel cramped inside, but are mid-sized for good handling and easy parking. Their styling ... read more

Cons: 60/40 split bench seat sits too low. Cupholders stink.
Rear power window regulators are junk.
My 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, 3800 is actually a company car that I have driven for over 11 years. It just turned 170,000 miles with no engine repairs. The 3800 is bulletproof. It has great power and low end torque and can pull down 30 mpg on the road ... read more

I own the GTP model, and I love it! It's fast, fun and you can't go wrong. In this car there is so much room, when you get into any other vehicle, it feels cramped. Even in some SUV's, the Grand Prix has more room! Handling of this car is smooth. One ... read more
