small and sleek

by
Mar 21, 2007 (A Very Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: like the style handles well (hard to describe) short 'length'-easier to maneuver
Cons: too small if tall hard to find 'standard' taillight covers noise level inconsistent, hear 'wind'
The Bottom Line: Recommended for those who like sporty, compact cars and aren't big on legroom.

I received this car from my sister after she decided to buy a new car (also an Acura). This is my first car and I am not a car enthusiast, so I apologize for a limited frame of reference other than cars I drove for Learner's Permit/Drivers License ... read more

Pros: Quick, responsive, fun, good deal
Cons: Small in places
The Bottom Line: Great car, great value. Get one before they're gone

We bought a 1996 Acura Integra in fall of that year. When it was time for a new car in the spring of 2001, we shopped around for lots of cars in the $20,000 range. What we eventually did was buy a second new Integra, this time a 2000. We got a great deal ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 10 Recommended: No

Pros: I can't find many
Cons: Ignition key won't turn. Won't reverse on grade. Multitude of noises Extremely poor resale value
The Bottom Line: I would tell anyone to steer clear of Acura Integras. It has a multitude of small problems and very low resale value. Avoid Acura Integras !!!

Acura, Much Less Than What Was Expected I bought an Acura Integra LS in 1998 from Jones Acura in Lancaster PA. I purchased this car specifically because the ads all said it was of high quality and the salesman said it would have a high ... read more

Pros: Sized right and handles beautifully
Cons: Rear seat not extravagant and bumpers bruise easily
The Bottom Line: If this is the size and style car you want, go fot it

We've been leasing cars for many years, loyally going with Chryslers and spending far too much time having them serviced. So this time we researched and leased an Acura, which is so much fun to drive, we're always offering to be chauffeurs. It handles ... read more

After reading this epinion I wrote about 4 years ago, I figured it was about time to update and revise this review. The 2000 Acura Integra GL 4-door DOHC is still a GREAT car! Walking up, or around my mother's dark green gem, you will notice that ... read more

Dec 18, 2000 (A Very Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: VTEC, 200 HP, handling.
Cons: Styling.

The Acuras have always been some of the greatest cars in the upper-end, all-around great category. The 2000 model is no exception - it is fun, VERY reliable, does not guzzle gas like some Suburban, and most importantly (for me, at least) - it can ... read more

Acura is at its worst

by
Nov 26, 2000 (A Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 20 Recommended: No

Pros: none
Cons: bad steering, inefficient engine

I must say I have liked Acuras for some time, but I recently bought one and I'm not pleased. Its engine performance... wait, there is no engine performance. The integra really falters with the engineering. With steering that makes me cry, and a shaky ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: extremely low maintenance
Cons: air conditioning problems

I want to comment about Integras in general. The Integras are a great value and run forever. I have a '94 basic model with 132,000 miles on it. I thought about buying a new car, but every month that I don't have to make car payments is a month where I ... read more

Cons: Uncomfortable driver's position

I bought it 3 months ago mainly for a long work commute. This car is solid and handles pretty well. The ride is very smooth. The only thing I don't like is the driver's seating position. If I move the seat towards the sterling wheel a bit, then I don't ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: acceleration, handling
Cons: rear room and cargo space

The Acura Integra gives you a semi-sporty sedan for a lot less than most others. Based on the Honda Civic, this car gives you ample room in front but can get slightly cramped in the back. Cargo space is average and gets beat out by larger models such as ... read more
