I Need A Car, Today!
That's what I heard from our agency's Vice President when I walked into our office yesterday. Being the resident auto expert, it was quickly decided that I would take her car shopping for the day. I was to find...

Pros: Fit and finish, quality of materials, headlights, Audio system, controls and convenience features. Cons: Reliability, reliability, reliability. The Bottom Line: Bottom line is that this is a beautiful vehicle with many well thought out amenities however overall, it's reliability is terrible. These cars can quickly become a money pit.
I owned this car for 5 years and over that time, averaged about $1000 in repairs every 6 months. I bought it with 72,000 miles from a very reputable Audi dealer who had maintenance records going back to day one of it's life. It had been maintained ...

Pros: Great style and quality for very reasonable price. Cons: Performance doesn't live up to its look. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car based on style and overall quality. The performance could be improved though. I would opt for the sports package and the bigger engine.
Let me first start out by saying that I have a 2000 Audi A4 sedan 1.8t with basically no options. I know these review categories don't distinguish between different models of the same car, so it's important we're on the same wavelength here.

Pros: style, handling Cons: could be a little faster The Bottom Line: This is sleek high quality car, that I would easily recommend.
My live-in girlfriend and I recently bought a 1.8T Audi A4, and we have been very satisfied with our purchase. Here are the good and bad points about the car.
Style--Amazing. This is a sleek looking attention getting European car. Audi has...

Pros: Carved from a single piece of metal. Cons: Too "small" & "weak" for average Joe sixpack American's prejudices. The Bottom Line: An excellent implementation of the sporty compact European sedan.
The A4 was on my short list of recommendations to my wife last year when she went about replacing her ten year old 1990 Audi 80. After two test drives, she chose the A4 1.8T/quattro with automatic. That was a year ago. Today, both of us still like the...

Pros: Performance, Quattro system, quality, styling Cons: tight rear seat
It is true, the 60 Minutes fiasco of the '80s left a tarnished image for Audi. Audi had a very rough road ahead of them. Years of lackluster sales left the company wondering if they could survive in this country. In 1996 Audi brought us the A4. Since...

Pros: Price, Style, Fit and finish, Overall quality, excellent handling Cons: No leather offered on the 1.8T, Slightly narrow cabin, lack of rear leg room.
Basics
For those of you in the entry-level Sport Sedan market, you know you are limited in the amount of cars you can chose from. Not only does this make the purchase decision harder, but it also makes your research even more important. The...

Pros: Most fun you can have in a station wagon Cons: When it brakes down, be prepared to wait
I've bought my A4 Avant in November 98. I was in love with it. It had great pickup, precise steering. The climate-control system was amazing, I finally understood those people that drove around with their windows up. I took it for a spin on the heavy...

Pros: Conservative, yet appealing looks, very smooth ride, great traction, nice 5spd manual tranny, comfortable seats Cons: Interior a little claustrophobic, could use more power, could use a better automatic transmission The Bottom Line: This would be a 5-star car if only the engine had more power. Beyond that, this is a well-priced, well-built, practical, comfortable wanna-be sports car.
The Audi A4 is not the most impressive car to look at, and it generally does a great job of blending in with traffic, and ususally doesn't attract attention to itself, that's somewhat unfortunate considering the fact that this is a well-priced automobile...

Pros: Everything about the car-Perfect Car Cons: Cupholders
As a 17 year old teenager who just started driving, I was absolutely thrilled when my parents surprised me with my dream car...a silver A4. Although it is a pricey car for someone's first car, it is a great value for the money, and a very safe, and...

Pros: Wonderful agile car with a solid ride. Cons: Horrible Service from Audi. Problems with the standard stereo The Bottom Line: I didnt buy this car for luxury, I bought it for performance -- which it delivers!
I bought my A4 in May of 2000 and have enjoyed every one of the 25k miles I have put on it so far. The Ugly -- This fast and nimble sedan suffers from two problems. One....I always want to drive above the speed limit in this car. It will take me to 70 ...

Pros: Handling, flat torque curve, safety, styling, comfort, fit & finish, 4yr warranty, free maint. Cons: Turbo lag at low gears, tight rear room, expensive, 1.8T lacks power seats & leather The Bottom Line: Highly recommended if luxury brand, safety, looks and handling outweight price for which you can get bigger Maxima or Passat with V6.
Ultimate gadget! Upon delivery it took salesperson at least 30 min to show all the features and still few weeks later I'm fishing out new things out of humongous User's Manual.
My favorites are self dimming side and rear mirrors, works like...

Pros: Zippy, fun, and versitile Cons: Small Back Seat
I can't say enough about my Audi A4. It is sleek, sophisticated, speedy, small and safe.I compared it to the BMW 3 Series, the Acura TL and the Volvo S40, and this was far superior to all of them.
For 2000, four versions are available: the...

Pros: Modern, "techy" interior, not too common on the road, AMAZING warranty Cons: Electronics problems, hard-to-get parts, long waiting periods The Bottom Line: Good- Head-turning car. Bad- you spend half of your time in the shop getting it fixed! Good- all of it is covered by the warranty. Bad- Electronics problems too common.
This was the first new car I had ever owned. Prior to the Audi A4, I had a 1994 Toyota Camry, 4 cylinder. Needless to say, I was not accustomed to major horsepower and I wasn't really looking for major horses under the hood. Thank god I didn't...
