Pros: Fun to drive and nice looking.
Cons: Serious design flaws and faulty parts The Bottom Line: This vehicle has design flaws and faulty parts.
I was just trying to troubleshoot a problem I was having with my 2000 BMW 323i and I came across an e-pinion user who mentioned a similar problem in his/her review. As I read, I started to think that the reviewer's myriad problems with the car sounded ...

Pros: Fun factor, attention to detail during design, quality, safety, resale value. Cons: Possibly expensive maintenance after warranty expires. You're branded a jerk just cause you own one. The Bottom Line: They aren't perfect and you will experience problems. Take your 4 year/50k mile warranty and relax. You'll be rewarded with a very fun and impressive ride for the $$.
BMW/Mercedes/Porsche all have some mystique about being this super car for some people. None of these cars defy any physical laws whatsoever. They do not fly, drive across water, burrow through mountains, or exceed super-sonic speed if you press a ...

Pros: Great design. Cons: Not up to usual BMW performance.
The new 323 coupe definitely looks great, no other car in its class compares in design . . . although BMW could have done a better job on the engine. The 2.5 liter BMW produces only 170hp and 181 lb of torque. The car also puts a big a hole in your...

Pros: Strong power, great luxury, very sport, great premium and sports package. Cons: Price is a bit steep, but you are paying for that the BMW status as well.
The BMW 328i is one of the most luxurious and sporty vehicles out on the market right now. Well the price is a bit steep, but what can you expect from a car that proudly wears a BMW badge. The 193 horsepower 2.8 Inline-6 engine has a purr that will...

Pros: Superior handling, luxurious attention to detail Cons: A bit steep in price
As a late twenty-something banking on some future income, I came across this entry level BMW amidst a field of other well-respected car lines such as Acura, Volvo, and Audi.
I decided on getting a BMW not because of price, but rather because of...

Pros: First rate Steering and Brakes, Sports Car Handling. Cons: High price, but worth it.
I have been driving a 2000 BMW 323i 4 Door Sedan since June first of 1999, and have enjoyed it immensely. For an entry price of under $30,000, one can purchase a 4 door sedan that has compact external dimensions and handles like a sports car, and still...

Pros: Styling, drive of the vehicle Cons: Rattles, groans, constant trips to shop The Bottom Line: Do not buy a BMW.
You will not believe the experience that I have had with BMW. This car has been in the shop a total of 38 days since I leased it last May (2000). There are so many problems with these cars that you don't hear about. BMW has had to replace the window...

Pros: Great reliability. Cool color - Topaz Blue Cons: Way to popular so prices are staying close to MSRP.
I don't want to rehash all that's been said about this car. I agree with most of the comments.
Here's my point of view after driving almost 19,000 miles in 11 months.
I still love this car!!! I commute 80 miles with it round trip...

UK review
If you want a classy estate car that does 50mpg and still goes well (10 seconds 0-60) then it's down to the VW Passat, The Audi A4 Avant Tdi, and the BMW 320d Touring.
I've spent ages looking into these choices, so let's...

Pros: Great handling, great features Cons: Steep Price
I'm going to make this review short and to the point. This is one great car. As far as I'm concerned, I will not be getting another car for a long while, and that is almost all due to the fact that I enjoy this BMW so much. It's great features and...

Pros: Stick-to-the-road-reliabilty, stop-on-a-dime, power-when-you-need-it car Cons: None The Bottom Line: Power, more than enough (watch your speed, it doesn't feel as fast as the radar will show!), comfortable, reliable, pure fun to drive, plenty of room for passengers and cargo.
This being my first contribution to e-pinions, I don't want it to be somethign negative; the most positive comments I have to make is about my car, a 2000 BMW 323 iTouring.
I'm female, mid-fifties, and have driven domestic and import cars for the...

Pros: Standard to Automatic in a flash Cons: None yet.
There's a very high percentage of car owners who decide that after two to three years, it's time to move on. Once a BMW owner, it's hard to cheat and buy some other manufacture's car. Let's face it, they say once a Saab owner, always a Saab owner. The...

Pros: Fast, Powerful, Strong, Safe, German Cons: Gas could be an issue The Bottom Line: Fast, Safe,BMW service #1, sound system=Awesome. I LOVE IT. Buy this car now. Over an Audi, Volkswagen or and simmilar Japanese Car. Its money well spend.
When I hear the words "German Efficiency" I think of three letters B! M! W!. I purchased a 2000 Red 323i BMW and ohhhh do I love driving it. This car hugs the road like a Russian Bear. I have never slid or spun out and that really show the effort that...

Pros: German Quality Cons: German Quality may not be what it used to be ! The Bottom Line: Is BMW really "The Ultimate Driving Machine?
After my experience I think not.
I have owned other BMW's in the past without many problems so I decided to buy a new 2000 323I to replace my 528I.
Here is my first complaint: Here is a new car with only 22,149 miles on it and my brake warning light comes on. I take my car...
