Pros: Great buy for the money. Roomy, comfy, powerful and looks great. Cons: Not as luxurious as Lexus RX300 SUV, but bigger and more affordable
First I would like to mention how pleasurable it was to purchase a vehicle from Warnock Dealership. If you have one near you rush out and get an automobile from those guys. They are courteous and very honest. The whole buying experience from the...

My parents recently purchased a 2000 Dodge Durango from the local Dodge dealership in my hometown. I had the privilege of driving it for a little over a week when they went on vacation. I fell in love with it and wish I could afford one for myself. ...

Pros: Nice looks. Incredibly versatile rear seats. Competent handling in snow. Cons: Below average reliability. Thirsty engine. Poor crash test ratings. (See below)
Ain't life grand? Before leaving on Spring Break with my family to Breckenridge, CO, I was under the impression that we would be driving the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I did extensive research on the Jeep in order to anticipate what was in...

Pros: 3rd Row Seating; Gutsy 4.7L V-8; Dodge Styling; Smooth Ride Cons: SUV Gas Mileage; Hard Plastic Everywhere; Chrysler Reliability The Bottom Line: the Durango combines ruggedly original Dodge styling, gutsy V-8 power with V-6 gas mileage, confident handling, smooth ride, easily configurable seating, and capability to carry 8 people for about $30,000.
Sport-Utility Vehicles are a fixture on our roads. The combination of off-road ability with people-hauling capacity sells these trucks by the boatload. If you need to haul more than 5 or 6 people, though, your options are severely limited. The dreaded...

Pros: good power/pick up. ltos of storage Cons: doesn't feel stable at high speed. hard to wash The Bottom Line: For this kind of money, you should be able to do better.
When I was in Southern California, I grew to hate SUVs. Driving behind one made it impossible to see the traffic up ahead. Ending up between, or in front of SUVs is intimidating if you're in a small car. When I got to Israel, therefore, I was delighted...

Pros: Unmatched performance, value, looks Cons: Thirsty; not as comfy as a car (but not meant to be)
Looked and looked for a mid-sized SUV--only one met all my needs/wants.
Grand Cherokee was nice, but smaller inside, and a unibody--not great for towing.
Explorer okay, less roomy for driver (I'm 6' 3''), squishy suspension. However, they're...

Pros: Spacious and Powerful! Cons: Gas Guzzler! The Bottom Line: It's a sweet ride with plenty of room for people or cargo. (if you don't mind the low MPG)
It was time to upgrade. My 1995 Pathfinder was beginning to show its age, and I started looking for a replacement. I really enjoyed the 4-wheel drive and size of my Pathfinder so thats what I thought of when I began my search. I ...

Pros: Looks, Style, and Comfort Cons: Expensive to keep on the road due to gas prices.
We purchased our Dodge Durango back in April of this year.
We looked at several different Durangos, different colors with different packages. We finally decided on the Flame Red Durango.
Our Durango has a 5.2-liter V8 engine. This...

Pros: Beefy style, 7 seat capability, good specification, great sound system Cons: Cheap trim, archaic rear suspension, agricultural power train The Bottom Line: Great reliable 7 seater SUV. Excellent value for money if residuals hold up. Nice styling and good specification let down marginally by minor trim and performance issues.
Let me start by saying this is a pretty decent vehicle let down by a couple of areas. Would I still consider if in the market again - yes...but well worth knowing some 'living with it facts' !
I bought the car used with 20k miles. Price was good....

Pros: Hauling ability, smooth ride, clean lines. Cons: Very poor gas mileage, price for the features you get. The Bottom Line: A great car to own, if you can afford to maintain it. If you get one, go for the SLT package.
I had a '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee and wanted a little bigger and more power. I had looked at Expeditions, but they were a little out of range. I started looking at the Durangos when Chrysler started its financing incentives on the 2000 models. I...

I purchased a 2000 Dodge Durango recently.
Looks are unbelievable, inside and out. I was very impressed with the amount of headroom that it has and the roominess in the back seats. Plenty of legroom for those people with long legs.
Power is...
