Pros: Lots of room for people and cargo to fit comfortably. Smooth ride. Cons: No keyhole on the passenger side?!?!?!? I guess chivalry is dead. The Bottom Line: This tank will get you there but you need money for the pump. The comfort is well worth this negative.
We bought this vehicle in the Fall of 2003 as my wife was pregnant with my now 3 year old son. I figured that I wanted the safest ride to haul my precious cargo, my golf clubs, and my wife and child. I jest. What would you rather be in, a hybrid, fuel ...

Pros: Roomy, Comfortable, Vehicle size makes you feel safe Cons: Gas Guzzler, Costly Repairs The Bottom Line: If you are looking for an older large comfortable vehicle that will fit your entire family (dogs included), and you don’t mind making repairs, this is a great vehicle.
So how much can you really say about a vehicle. It gets you from point A to point B, right? Well actually, there is a lot to tell you about this vehicle. I have owned my 2000 Ford Expedition since 2005 and have put 30,000 miles on it. My vehicle is ...

Pros: Versatile, well designed, well integrated Cons: Fuel economy, interior gaps, loose vent louvers, no key lock on passenger side door, automatic locking doors.
With one of my automobiles in the shop for an extended stay, I took the opportunity to rent a 2000 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4 for a week: 1,400 miles of city and rural driving. This vehicle had 20,000 miles on it at rental time. With a growing family...

Pros: Large size, powerful, luxurious Cons: uses a lot of gas and handling leaves a lot to be desired
My mother recently bought an 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition and she loves it. It has seating for eight and a lot of space with the seats folded down. This is extremely important to her because she is constantly driving a lot of people around and always has...

Pros: Tough, well designed suspension. Cons: Inconsistant cam deployment, may need cam kits to align.
I have read many reviews on automobiles from aesthetic, interior, power, warranty, options, etc... points of view. I believe an important, but always neglected area, though is from an undercar point of view, and let me tell you, most people are...

Pros: Great design Cons: BUMPY RIDE!!!
I recently decided it was time to buy a larger SUV. I have impeccable timing. It appears that gas prices are prepared to reach two dollars a gallon by the end of the month, and no decision yet forthcoming from OPEC regarding increased oil production....

Pros: Car-like ride, excellent build quality Cons: Don't even think in terms of Miles per gallon
We knew we needed a bigger SUV. Our 1987 Pathfinder was just too small too accommodate our family on our weekend getaways. We shopped at the Chevy/GMC dealerships certain we would purchase a Tahoe/Yukon. On impulse, we stopped at the Ford dealership...

Pros: Roomy, refined, good use of space, visibility, safety Cons: Gas Mileage, Cargo Area, Wheel balance The Bottom Line: Very refined BIG vehicle
We need to start with the model I own: The XLT with Appearance Package. Several of my comments relate to features found in this model.
The premium sound system (not the Mach system) lacks low end bass. I fixed that with an add-on sub. The...

In November of 1999, my wife decided that she was interested in an SUV and wanted to trade in our 1997 Dodge Ram. I had bought a 1999 Jeep Wrangler for myself earlier in the year, so who was I to argue?
We went to all of the differant...

Poor gas mileage The Bottom Line: If you want a big, safe vehicle with a nice ride, look no further.
When my wife got pregnant, we knew that we needed to replace her 5-year old Chevy Cavalier with something more baby-friendly. We looked at minivans and smaller SUVs, along with the Ford Expedition.
The reason why we chose the Expedition was a...

I personally never owned or liked Fords until my husband and I went shopping for vehicles. I was a GMC kind of gal and was really looking more at the GMC Suburbans. My husband is a Ford fanatic and has owned Fords all his life. I didn't like his F-150...

I finally took a close look at a Ford Expedition...I've been a 4x4 owner since the sixties...everything from CJ5 Jeeps to Ramchargers to Broncos. I had the feeling from afar that this new Ford rig was not like anything I was used to.
