Pros: -Has been reliable for what has traditonally been a very unreliable car Cons: -Heavy feel -Turning/cornering -weatherstripping -road noise -turnk space -back seat room The Bottom Line: -Sports car without the huge price tag. Regardless of the reviews on Mustangs, they are still classics that everyone can relate to and they can easily modified.

Pros: V8, handling, body style, and come on, it is a mustang. Cons: Price, interior, and extra repairs The Bottom Line: If you want a fun 2nd car this is perfect, otherwise steer clear of it.
Early January of last year I found myself in need of a car. Being in a small town, there wasn’t a whole lot of variety, and the prices weren’t that great either. After ... read more

Pros: Great car, problem free, fun car to drive. Cons: Only problem has been issues with the seat belt, no other cons! The Bottom Line: A fun drive with plenty of power from a trouble free car that we'd recommend to anyone.
We've had our 2000 Mustang since driving it off the lot in July of 2000. Laser Red, 8 cylinder with cloth seats. During the warranty period we had just two small problems with sensors, and no problems since the end of the warranty period. It has been one ... read more

Pros: Great speed, got lots of looks from females Cons: Horrible car in the snow, lots of engine troubles after 6 years The Bottom Line: Great car that lasted a little too short in my eyes though, only about 110,000 miles.
In January 2001, I purchased a 2000 Ford Mustang GT convertible with under 50 miles, that was somehow a leftover at my dealer. It was black with a black soft top, and it had grey leather seats. It instantly gave me satisfaction once I turned the ... read more

Pros: Attractive, reliable, great acceleration...you can zoom right past people on the highway Cons: Kind of uncomfortable after driving a few hours, tough to drive in rain/snow The Bottom Line: I'm glad I owned that car. If you want a Mustang, just go for it. It may not be the most practical car ever, but it's fun.
I had a 2000 coupe (none of the extras, just the basic model) that was purchased brand-new for years, and it was an incredibly reliable car. While I watched friends and family have trouble with their more expensive vehicles, mine kept right on running. ... read more

Pros: It takes corners great, it purrrrs doing 80. And it's a great looking muscle car. Cons: It's very limited on door pockets and storage. Back seat is just for small people. The Bottom Line: I love my Mustang. I was very fortunate to find one with such low miles and taken care of so nicely. Rides and looks great for being 8 years old.
Like I said, it's not new, but it is new to me. I am the Soccer Mom turned Mustang Sally. This was just the ticket for my midlife crisis. I just traded my 2000 Mercury Villager for a 2000 Ford Mustang with half the miles. I am in heaven! I have ... read more

Pros: simple, rear-wheel drive, looks great, good compromise between power and gas mileage Cons: poor customer service, unserviceable problems, no window frames on doors, small trunk, noisy accessories The Bottom Line: Buy a Chevy.
I bought my 2000 3.8L Mustang brand new. It now has 109k miles in February 2007. Within a month, the clutch pedal began to rattle. I brought it back to the dealer to have this problem fixed. The dealer simply installed a rubber stopper behind the ... read more

I'm not going to go into depth on all the problems I had with this car, but I will tell you this: I bought this car brand new after selling my 1988 Chevrolet Camaro. I will say that the mustang was a very fun car to drive (a got the 5-speed because of ... read more

Pros: An inexpensive, great looking car, great acceleration, cheap insurance (if you're old & married). Cons: Gas mileage not great, cheap interior parts, husband changing my seat and mirror positioning. The Bottom Line: I bought this car as a "summer" car to break free from "SUV driving soccer mom mode". I truly love the handling, acceleration, braking capability and it's appearance!
Great "extra" car for zooming back and forth to work if you have a sudden need for speed. It has just enough power/acceleration for someone a little hesitant to handle a V-8. I bought this Mustang brand new off the showroom floor and have 37,000 miles ... read more

This is a true sports car and it never lets you forget it! As soon as you step in the car and start the engine you feel a rumble and hear a sound that lets you know you're driving an American car. This is only with the V6! Performance/Handling ... read more

Pros: Made to race with celica gts, acura rsx-s
reliable, Engine rumbles, good handling and brakes Cons: Should have 16" wheels not 15" Front cup hold poorly placed. The Bottom Line: recommend this car because it's most practice. It's not that expensive for the performance you get compared to other import cars.
service is cheap and so are the parts.
I purchased a used 2000 Ford Mustang V6 4 months ago. I decided to go with a 2000 cuz I heard and have had experience with the old Ford Motorcraft parts used on Fords 98 and lower. Apperently there not to reliable. The 5.0 is good and so is the 4.6. ... read more

Pros: An all around good sports car Cons: Insurance The Bottom Line: The insurance can be a little pricy, but you will save on gas mileage for a sports car. A fun car to drive.
I drive a 2000 Mustang V6. This car gives you a lot of bang for the buck. The hood, bumpers and trunk are of a composite material which means they will not rust. It also makes the car lighter. The good part is the winter won't rust the car out, ... read more

In March of 2003 I drove from Ontario Canada down the I-75 to Fort Lauderdale Florida to purchase my 2000 V-6 laser red Mustang Convertible. I am in no way a Mustang fanatic, in fact I know very little about Mustangs. I do know enough about mustangs ... read more
