Pros: sadly...none Cons: sadly...everything The Bottom Line: I will never buy another Ford for as long as I live!
What is wrong with this car, you ask???
EVERYTHING.
The 2000 Mustang GT is a total lame excuse for a sportscar! I purchased a 2000 red Mustang GT in November of 1999. I was the first in my town to have one of the new bodystyles! The...

Pros: Looks nice Cons: No real strength, does not drive as a solid car
The new 2000 Ford Mustang is too much hype. The car has a V6, but if you get an automatic, then there is no pickup. The car has no true power, I owned a Eclipse, four-cylinder, and the Mustang has the same amount of acceleration. It takes forever for the...

Pros: I wish they would give me more stars to rate with because five won't do Cons: NONE
Hmm,,Let me think about this one. 2000 Ford Mustang coupe. Total panty dropper. With its sleak new styling and great power output, this car was built to get women. If you are 16 years old like I am, and love to race, this is definitely your car. There is...

Pros: Nice styling Cons: not really a sportscar. The Bottom Line: The Ford jokes ring true. These cars are gutless wonders.
I had always wanted a Ford Mustang for as long as I could remember.
The day came...
I applied for credit through Ford Motor and was approved for a 2000 Mustang GT. I couldn't believe it. I chose a black one with tinted windows,...

Pros: Pretty color Cons: 13 times in the shop the FIRST year!
A few years ago, in 1995, I bought a new Ford Mustang. I wanted to buy an American car. I didn't even think of getting anything else. I was trading in my Ford F-150. I wanted better gas milage, something cute.
The first morning after I bring home...

Pros: Style Cons: Seats, a/c, paint, cd player, interior noise & dealing with Ford's service department The Bottom Line: An insult to the Mustang's predecessors.
I'm not going to go into depth on all the problems I had with this car, but I will tell you this: I bought this car brand new after selling my 1988 Chevrolet Camaro. I will say that the mustang was a very fun car to drive (a got the 5-speed because of ...

Pros: -Has been reliable for what has traditonally been a very unreliable car Cons: -Heavy feel -Turning/cornering -weatherstripping -road noise -turnk space -back seat room The Bottom Line: -Sports car without the huge price tag. Regardless of the reviews on Mustangs, they are still classics that everyone can relate to and they can easily modified.
I bought his car brand new in Jan. 2000. Prior to this car I had a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. I will base my comparison off of my previous car.Since having bought the Mustang, I have done a lot of engine improvements to include ...

Pros: Sleek Car, Great Sound System Cons: Rear end problems (as usual some major problem)
This is my third time owning a Mustang. I purchased 2000 GT Convertible August 1999, my dream car (this is my third and the other 2 had transmission and BIG engine problems). But I just knew this Mustang was going to be different.
Laserred,...

Pros: How it looks Cons: How it Drives
I test drove one of these cars yesterday. I took out the V. 6 00. I was very disapointed with how it handled. It could not take the turns very quickly, and it shook a little. The pick up was horrible. Although the car is very nice too look at....

Pros: A great V8, 260hp if you can afford the GT. Cons: The interior, and a bit pricy for my tastes
The Bottom Line: If you have $20,000 to blow on a car, I would not recommend spending it on a Mustang.Get a Firebird!
When you think of Mustangs, the first thing that comes to mind is a muscle car.Mustangs have long been classified with such cars as camaros, firebirds, chevlles, and others.
But the question for this model is that with the new sporty look of...

Pros: Mach 460 stereo, 5 speed tranny shifts smooth. Cons: not enough power, squeaks, rattles, The Bottom Line: This car is an okay car. I wouldn't buy another one, though. Lots better cars for the price.
I bought my 2000 Mustang because I had a 1993 Probe GT which was totalled. They look good, and have a very strong following, which I don't understand because they're junk. Within a week of buying it, I realized I should have sprung for a GT, or a ...

Pros: The GT Sounds Great and has pretty good pickup. Cons: Rear end problems from day one. Poor low end torque, A/T shifts too much. The Bottom Line: The GT is a fun car for around town hope quality and low end power can be increased.
Got the GT because I wanted a sporty car with some guts. The V-8 did deliver but not in the low end torque area just in midrange. I didn't dog the Mustang but in a couple of months the rear end started making noise. I ended up in the shop 3 times befor...

Pros: Some european copies in the exterior of the car, too bad they did not look under the hood of them. Cons: Slugish and boring---.
The Ford Mustang is a weak excuse for a sports car, always has and always will. Ford should leave the business of making sports cars to GM,EUROPEAN MANU.,and Japanese Manu. Ford should stay with making mini-vans and that ugly TAURUS. The Mustang lacks in...

Pros: Good seating, nice looks. Cons: Handled like @#%$, lack of power, felt heavy.
I test drove a 2000 Mustang GT. At a cost of only 22,500.00 I thought it would be quite a car. So the sales guy tells me to beat it up. I do Auto Cross racing, so I went to a parking lot to do same tight fast turns. The car felt really heavy and the car...

Pros: simple, rear-wheel drive, looks great, good compromise between power and gas mileage Cons: poor customer service, unserviceable problems, no window frames on doors, small trunk, noisy accessories The Bottom Line: Buy a Chevy.
I bought my 2000 3.8L Mustang brand new. It now has 109k miles in February 2007. Within a month, the clutch pedal began to rattle. I brought it back to the dealer to have this problem fixed. The dealer simply installed a rubber stopper behind the ...
