Not long ago my old car bit the dust and it was time to get something new. I had been dreaming of getting a full-size pick-up for a long time and when it was finally within my grasp I knew that I had to opt for "The King of Trucks", the Z71. General...

Pros: Powerful, Well-built, comfortable, big Cons: Gas mileage
I bought a GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 extended cab 4 door to replace a 1997 Dodge RAM 1500 4X4 extended cab. The GMC is a far superior truck in my opinion. The Big 5.3L V-8 has much better throttle response and power than the Dodge 5.1L V-8. The GMC has more...

After driving my Pontiac Bonneville SSE, which I truly love, for the last ten years, it was time for me to get behind the wheel of a pickup truck again. I love Gm products, so it was the only truck I shopped for. Wow! This one is loaded, SLE, 3 door...

Pros: Wonderfully Designed. A good looking truck! Cons: A little wind noise. The dealership fixed it the first time in. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this truck to my best friend. It looks good [a real head turner], and it runs good. I can't think of anything bad to say.
I really enjoy owning this truck!! It has the flare side or the side step body style. It is very attractive to look at. The color is the indigo blue the dealership added several decal stripes. It has a six cylinder engine with plenty of pep. I'm not...

Pros: none Cons: Transmission
I have enjoyed driving this vehicle while it was under warranty. I have found a few problems with the brakes under certain road conditions. At 120,000KM I had to replace the power steering pump, which seems to have a recall notice in the US but not Canada $550.00. And the most shocking thing at 135,000KM, I have just had to rebuild the transmission $2500.00. I have decided to purchase a Toyota full size truck instead they seem to have a better track record even though they have not been building trucks that long. I am disappointed in the excuse that my truck was three year out of warranty, the customer service rep from GM explained. My satisfaction is that GM will not get another sale from me or if I can help it from others. I also explained to the GM rep that I have basically used this vehicle as a car. I though I was buying the best.
