Pros: A running vehicle
Cons: Low power
The Bottom Line: A nice truck, a "toy" truck. Good mileage, small engine.
I'd only recommend it if you really really wanted a truck just to have a truck.
I don't actually own a GMC Sonoma, but my roommate does, and he has even let me drive it around a bit.
My overall opinion -- if someone were giving it to me, then fine, I'll take it, otherwise I really wouldn't pick it out on my own.

Pros: It has a good stereo system, and a comfortable ride for around town.
Cons: 4 cylinder engine leave it lacking, uncomfortable on long trips.
The Bottom Line: A good truck but lacking in power.
The 2000 model of this truck looks nice from the outside. It has a curvy, sporty body. I took one on lease and so far am moderately happy with it. The four-cylinder engine does not provide enough power for this truck. I find myself having to floor the ... read more
