Pros: Reliable, Dependable, Smoothe, Fuel Efficiency. It's a Honda! What else do you need to know? Cons: The fact that Honda Civics lead the list of most stolen vehicles in the U.S. The Bottom Line: You see Civics everywhere for a reason and that reason is the fact that hard not to like.
I have owned two of these 2000 Honda Civics within a year. The two models I have owned are the 2000 Civix EX Coupe and the 2000 Civic Si Coupe. Many similarities between the two models, however, the SI is just one of a kind. After owning a Mitsubishi ...

Pros: Great gas mileage; Built very solid; Tons of interrior room for a car this size. Cons: No strings attaching the trunk space cover to the hatchback/ trunk door. The Bottom Line: Like driving a BMW. This car is sturdy like steel and runs great. Great gas mileage. You will drive for miles and miles and miles and miles.
This was my first "real" car. My parents helped me buy it when I graduated high school. After driving a 1986, run-down old Mazada 626 for a year and a half in high school I was so very excited to get this car.
We wanted a hatchback car because it...

Pros: gas mileage, VTEC engine, power everything, great handling, looks, great visibility, very reliable, roomy Cons: could use more head room, ABS brakes did not come standard, 14" rims The Bottom Line: Great Car for everyone. Reliable, good looking, ample power, fun to drive.
I got this car (2000 Civic EX Coupe w/ Automatic) the summer after I turned 16. Having always loved cars, I wanted something that looked sporty, was somewhat fast, and handled well. I also wanted something that would get me through the rest of high ...

Pros: Affordable Performance Coupe, Honda Reliability Cons: Like, Everyone Has A Civic
I had $20k to spend on a car. I wanted something fast, but not too flashy. I bought a Civic Si. The 160HP DOHC VTEC 4-cylinder engine purrs like a tame kitty in traffic but howls like a V-6 past 5500 rpm when the VTEC kicks in. Oh, baby.
I...

Pros: Fast, Looks Good, Handling, Revvvvs Galore, Virtually Race Ready Cons: Harsh Ride
The Civic Si is not for everyone. It's not supposed to be for everyone (Accord is for everyone). If you are the kind of person who views a new car as a blank canvas, and not a finished work - the Civic Si may be for you. Honda has looked at how many...

Pros: Screaming engine, high build quality, bang-for-buck Cons: Premium fuel, weak stereo, lame cup holders The Bottom Line: If you can find one, buy it.
I was itching to upgrade from my Civic HX (not a bad little car), and I knew the Si wouldn't be around long. I had to have it. It comes completely equipped, is carefully built, will last for years and years if properly maintained, and it goes like...

Pros: Economical gas consumption, fairly reliable, fun Cons: Deceptive Finance Dept, Problems with seats. Not safe or reliable car. VERY EXPENSIVE MAINTENANCE. The Bottom Line: Looking back after 6 years I am not impressed with this car & will NEVER buy another Honda. Get your own financing, don't deal with Honda Finance or Service.
I bought a 2000 Honda Civic 2 door Coupe SE model (which is a DX with a few goodies)and, although I was simply looking for good economical reliable transportation, I got a car that was all that and then some. It is one of the most fun cars I have ever ...

Pros: Great ,mileage, comfortable, good handling Cons: Limited color choice, not great interior room for a hatchback, could use additional accessories
We were looking for a small vehicle that would hold it's value. We also wanted good gas mileage, reliability, and a nice style. Not having bought a new car for a few years it was time to look around.
I started by doing the research with car...

Pros: Great ride, very reliable Cons: They are getting a bit pricey
I bought a used Honda Civic back in 1993. It had no radio or air conditioning, but it got me from point A to B. I think it had about 100,000 miles on it when I got it, as it was about 5 years old.
Now this model was not a DX, didn't even have any...

Pros: Looks cool with stickers and rims!!! Cons: Always get beat when racing. The Bottom Line: Great fast looking, sorta cheap car. Get all the girls buy a Civic!
I just leased a Civic Si and it looks sooo cool. I stickered it up nice and good so that all the girls will think it is fast. I put eibach springs, Momo tires and a Jackson racing exhaust system on there with a 5 inch exhaust tip! It sounds really...

Pros: VTEC Engine Cons: Premium Gasoline
I bought this vehicle because I was looking for a quick good looking car. My fiance found it for me - I wanted something eye catching and I got it! I love the 160 HP VTEC engine. It's like you are driving along and when you hit 5500 RPM boom this burst...

Pros: Economical and a BLAST to drive Cons: Spartan interior, a bit noisy
After a long search and extensive test drives of the Volkswagon GTI, BMW 3 Series, Celica GTS, Mustang GT and Ford Focus, I settled on the Honda Civic 2 Door SI Coupe. Although this is the first time I bought less car than I could afford, I find myself...

Pros: Handling, Acceleration, low cost Cons: Conservative looking, lack of torque
Set out on a mission for a new best friend, a reliable mode of transportation, one that will get me from home to work, a rather far commute. But not just one that will get me there. One that you can roll back the sunroof, take the windows down, and...

Pros: none Cons: gas mileage, among other things
I'm a 39yr old guy and I bought this car for commuting back & forth to work mostly in city traffic with occasional highway driving. I previously owned a '92 Honda Civic Si, and loved it... I have been HUGELY disappointed with the new Si. First, the...
