Pros: Handles like small car; fantastic suspension to smoothly navigate poor roads. Safe, dependable and relaible. Cons: Louder motor, difficult to carry certain larger loads. Pulls right in wet conditions. The Bottom Line: One of the better vehicles designed today; and truly lives up to Consumer Reports as the No. 1 minivan on the market in safety, reliability and handling.
With trepidation and hesitation I took a risk and purchased a 2000 Odyssey EX and I've never been happier. It was a significant hurdle to jump into a Japanese model vehicle, away from family standards and North American vehicles. It was also ... read more

Pros: RELIABLE, NICE HANDLING, COMFORTABLE FOR FAMILY ON LONG TRIPS. Cons: AUTOMATIC DOORS ABSOLUTELY STINK!!! The Bottom Line: FANTASTIC; I am buying another one when this one dies! Odyssey, I love you.
We bought our 2000 Honda Odyssey used, in 2002. FANTASTIC BUY. We're at 154,000 miles and still going strong, of course. We're fans of Honda; we ran our last '91 Accord up to 259,000 miles, and sold it only because the interior was shot. You just ... read more

Pros: "2-in-1" - 2nd Row: Converts Captain to Bench Seat. Prestige. Dual Electric side doors. Cons: Gas mileage. Lack of a comfortable ride. Questionable dependability. The Bottom Line: So-So. Mechanical & body problems from day-one. One resolves, another begins. Warranty covered some. Lemon or tired at 90k-miles? Can this last 200-300k-miles? We'll see.
I purchased a 2000 EX in February 2006 with 80k miles. It had some very minor rust spots, which the manufacturer refused to repair (3-wks outside of warranty). I have recently noticed the space in which my 3rd row seat folds into is wet—more rust ... read more

Pros: Quality and reliability in question; American Honda Motor Co needs to keep the standard Cons: Disclosure after spending for repair The Bottom Line: Why did American Honda Motor Co have to wait until now before disclosing to us, consumers, that their vehicle had a faulty ignition switch problem?
I'd be very surprised if your working-horse Odyssey, favorite Honda Civic, Accord, Prelude, CR-V and even your Acura were not part of this massive recall. As for my wife and me, our Honda is just messing up in the garage. Not even the alarm is working. ... read more

Pros: Spacious mini-van with lots of power, lots of storage space with rear-seat buried in floor. Cons: In high demand so supplies are short... Very little haggling due to high demand.
