2000 Honda Passport DON'T BUY ONE

The Honda Passport/Rodeo is a waste of money. It looks nice on the outside but, On the inside you can expect issues with the Transmission, Fuel sending unit, computer, wiring harness, engine Just about every thing that cost money to fix. Not just little money but big money. TRUST ME I HAD one until I had to sink $13,000 in repairs and rentals into it then send it back to the bank. It messed up my credit and My view of HONDA. When I called Honda to complain I got as simple answer that is why we don't carry them any more. We now make our own SUV. THANKS HONDA..IF you want to know more I have plenty of e-mail from folks around the country with the same sort of issues to back me up. lillypads1972@charter.net

this is a great car for space and looks

Just bought a 2000 a couple of weeks ago, am loving it compared to my dodge neon... uses alot of gas, but that is to be expected. Very nice looking-have plans to make it a little more rugged, but even then will still look high class.
The amount of space in his car is awesome! I can fit all groceries in cargo area and have room to spare, plus it is so easy to get in/out of car based on its perfect height.
The only negative aspect so far (aside from new headlight assembly being so expensive) is when car is in 4 wheel drive there is still alot more power going to back tires then front-car does 180's really easy on snowy/slick roads.
But should be fine once I get a set of studs on the back tires...plus, not a huge fan of ABS, it fights back really hard, harder to control then manually pumping breaks.
