Pros: Plenty of power, room for the family. Cons: Heater is not good for cold weather area's.
A few weeks ago, my beloved Acura Integra GSR was stolen. I had a bad feeling while shopping for a new car since I purchased the Acura before I married my wife and her three children. I wanted another sporty car, she wanted a mini-van. I...

Pros: Reliable, powerful, responsive, comfortable and most importantly - aesthetically pleasing. Cons: Interior plastic not so durable. Relatively low clearance. It won't last an eternity. The Bottom Line: Buy it from someone who cared for it and can show you proof (I bought mine from my parents and they bought another one). This is a great vehicle!
After a recent 2000 mile round-trip to New Hampshire over Christmas, I am truly satisfied with the performance of my 2000 v6 Rodeo (manual transmission). I had a good initial-pre-key-turn impression of the Rodeo once I got into the seat. The overall ...

Pros: power, comfort, great buying incentives Cons: seat belts "lock", not the highest quality materials on the interior, pesky quality problems The Bottom Line: Despite some quality nuisance issues, this has been a great vehicle that has held up well without mechanical problems. Rodeo has been around a while and bugs have been tweaked.
I live in the mountains on a twisty turny road that requires a higher than normal ground clearance to get over the bumps. I had a king cab pickup but the kids are getting older and a little squashed, so I knew I had to make a change. This was 2.5 years...

Pros: V6 power, appearance, automatic transmission Cons: tailgate design, interior material quality, OEM tires The Bottom Line: The Rodeo has been a well performing SUV, and hasn't given us any particular problems. Most problems have been minor in nature. I'd recommend this vehicle.
Normally, a rodeo is full of bronc riding, calf roping, and lots of bulls and stuff like that, so I don't quite get the connection between an SUV and the name "Rodeo", but that doesn't detract from the fact that our 2000 LS Rodeo has been a decent ...

Pros: Good price, powerful Cons: Lacks some "extras"
After driving smaller cars all my life, I was anxious to actually take an SUV for a ride. I didn't really know what to expect as far as the handling and overall ride was concerned. Although I did have some minor complaints from the Isuzu Rodeo, I must...

Pros: Sturdy and fun to drive Cons: Slightly uncomfortable and vehicle can easily roll over
I currently possess a Rodeo LS and have found it to be a relatively good vehicle overall due to its reliability, but it is really just another SUV.
Exterior
The outside of the Rodeo has undergone few cosmetic changes, which lends itself...

Pros: Very rugged and dependable Cons: No bells and whistles
My family and I have had the honor of owning the 95½ Isuzu Rodeo for more than two years now. The SUV is at the top of its game when it comes to being rugged and dependable. We purchased this vehicle used already and have now put about 40,000 more miles...

Pros: Great family car Cons: Narrow back doors
I used to have a little 2 door compact car but after having a baby in June my husband and I decided that we were in need of a larger family car. We originally thought we would just buy a larger car, but after looking into the different models we decided...

Pros: power handling Cons: none
This SUV is the best deal out in the market right now. It has more horse power than any mid-size SUV out there. It rides very smoothly, and corners accurately. I occassionally enjoy rough it up in the dirt with my rodeo, and it was a lot of fun. If...

Isuzu hit the "MARK" with their SUV. In a world FULL of "copycats" and "ripoffs" Isuzu's entry in 2000 is/was a winner, The 2000 Isuzu Rodeo. A re-done front end gives the vehicle a "no-nonsense" look to off road adventures. The v-6 gives the vehicle ...

Pros: Very Roomy and Great for Tailgating. Cons: A First-Class Lemon. The Bottom Line: We were on a busy highway, without any indication the truck stalled. Tractor trailer zoomed passed us, we feared for our lives. For your safety reconsider this SUV.
The 2000 Isuzu Rodeo has been nothing but problems since the day we drove it out of the dealer's parking lot. This Sport Utility Vehicle looks nice on the outside, a true horror in disguise.
This is our family's first SUV, coming from always...

Pros: best selling SUV for the last four years, better than Path Finder, better than Toyota's 4Runner Cons: Can turn over under the right circumstances
I purchased my first Isuzu Rodeo, 19951/2 , from Maroone Ford. It was introduced to the public in mid-year. What a wonderful surprise it was to drive. The Rodeo is a cinch to drive as well as being easy on gas. My Isuzu was one of the first SUVs on...

Pros: Roomy cargo space, Great highway gas mileage for an SUV, easy maintenance Cons: Wide roll during turns, "snap-together" interior trim The Bottom Line: I believe the Rodeo is a versatile automobile and is well-rounded to accommodate most uses.
Thanks again for reading my reviews.
My experience with the Rodeo has led me to believe that Isuzu is making serious upgrades in the quality of their products. This is no exception: My overall satisfaction with this SUV is above average.
