Pros: The ultimate machine! Cons: Stiff ride The Bottom Line: A great driving machine--maintenance should be minimal because it's a very simply constructed vehicle
This review is my submission to the write-off in honor of my friend, Roadiem, who was otherwise known to his friends, family and all who loved him as Michael J. Lambert. Those of you who knew Roadiem know that his passions were automobiles, photography...

Pros: Good power, Cool looks, Tons of options/aftermarket items. Cons: Fuel economy!!! Windshield prone to cracking. The Bottom Line: Whether you're the more hard-core type, or want all the amenities, the Wrangler can be customized to your liking!
INTRO
Almost three months ago my mighty mini-wagon ('93 Cavalier) bit the dust. Since then Ive been on the search for a new vehicle, trying to decide what direction I wanted to go. I wanted something that I would actually like, but...

Pros: It's 100% Jeep. Cons: It's 100% Jeep. Lousy reliability. The Bottom Line: Lots of fun... but a smart buy?
You know the feeling. It's happened to you. A Jeep Wrangler crosses your path, and a tiny voice in your head clamors "Oh, I want it! I want it!" Yet another yells "what, are you crazy?" What causes this form of dementia, you ask? Well,...

Pros: Fun, convertible & 4x4 Cons: Noise, poor mileage, stiff ride
I love my Jeep Wrangler because it is the only combination of convertible and four wheel drive available on the market. It is well suited for my interests of both driving in the snow to Lake Tahoe as well as offroading and riding in the sun during the...

Pros: freedom Cons: gas mileage
The history of the Wrangler has been well documented in other opinions, so I will not recap it here. I do recommend, however, that anyone shopping for a new Jeep reads 'Doccers' account of the storied past of this great vehicle.
I fell in love...

Pros: Fun with the top down and super rugged Cons: Watch that highway driving! very stiff and bumpy! The Bottom Line: Just know what you're getting into. This ride is not for everybody and an evaluation of your driving habits is very important before you commit to this vehicle.
I think most people, at one point or another, have wanted that Jeep Wrangler. It was my dream car when I turned 16 and earned that much awaited right to drive. However, I didn't end up getting one until 9 years later. No big deal since the Wrangler...

Pros: Ruggedly Utilitarian Cons: Ruggedly Utilitarian. Not an economy car.
The Wrangler. The Direct descendant of the 1940's Willys MB "Jeep". (well, ok, the direct descendant of the 1940's *BANTAM* "Jeep")
A short history lesson behind this american icon.
(warning, this is a long read....

Pros: Cheap Cons: Bumpy, No Space
This car just like any other car has its weaknessess as well as strengths.
One of the Strengths is the Great Turning Radius. Very solid, Hard top is easy to remove.
Some of the weaknesses are the Gas gusler. It eats gas like there is no...

Pros: too much fun to drive Cons: A little bumpy,
A Jeep Wrangler is a breath of fresh air in a world where the words "luxury" and "SUV" are commonly heard together in car commercials, and "off road" vehicles come equipped with leather seats and promise a smooth ride at the...

Pros: I backed into my friends fathers' minivan, on a hill, around 15mph the second day I owned the vehicle and there wasn't even a scratch on the bumper. Definitely safe! Cons: My jeep with tire and wheel package, and sentry key retailed at over $23,500
I bought this vehicle because it is the only one like it on the market today. I have not had any trouble with it so far. In fact when I drove it off the lot I noticed a small tear (from shipping) on the lower part of one of the windows and Chrysler was...

Pros: Go anywhere, wind against your face, makes you feel cool Cons: Hardly any storage with the back seats in, with the top off you can get quite the soaking when it rains, fair gas mileage.
The notorious Jeep Wrangler. For years I have wanted one. I think it was from watching old reruns of MASH that I first fell in love with the Jeep. They seemed FUN. Go anywhere with the top down? How could you beat that?
Well come this...

Pros: Relatively uncitified and absolutely true to purpose; may provide incentive to become a DIY mechanic Cons: Questionable reliability may force you to become a DIY-er if you 4-wheel in remote places! The Bottom Line: IF you need this kind of vehicle (and can live with the possibility of becoming your own mechanic), you'll love it. IF you really need a passenger vehicle, KEEP LOOKING.
Love it or hate it. That's what this vehicle is all about. You want compromise? Buy an SUV, not a Wrangler, because the only other "SUV" that hasn't compromised its purpose (well, not much) is a Hummer, and I won't even go there.
If you wince...

Pros: Unique styling for both an SUV and convertible... Cons: ...but the gas mileage could be improved...
Let's compare the Jeep to some other vehicles:
PT Cruiser versus Plymouth Prowler
VW Beetle versus VW Cabrio
In both cases, the convertible costs more than the equally trendy hard top, but not the case when you compare the Jeep Wrangler...

Pros: Modular design, fun to drive Cons: Lousy gas mileage, safety concerns
While certainly not for everyone, the Jeep Wrangler can be a real blast for the right type of person. What most impressed me about my recently-purchased 2000 Wrangler was the modular design. Want to have fun? Remove the top. Heck, even remove the...
