Pros: Rugged, Convertible, Reliable, Fun Cons: Rough Ride, Few Luxury Options, Poor Gas Mileage The Bottom Line: For short trips and off-road driving, there is no better car, but look elsewhere for a quiet, smooth highway ride.
Jeep Wrangler has been at the top of my list since I was a little kid and didn't bother to look much under the surface, the car was just simply cool. Well now I'm a lot older and I own one. It's everything I thought it could be and more, but may not ... read more

Pros: The Go Anywhere Vehicle, Many Accessories Cons: Fuel Economy, Must have a Garage to store Accessories The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants to have a serious off-road vehicle and doesn't have $120,000 for a Hummer H1.
I always wanted a Jeep all though High School and through College, so when I finally got a "Real Job" that is exactly what I did. I went and purchased a 2000 TJ Wrangler Sport. I loaded the vehicle up with almost every option.

Pros: Fun with the top down and super rugged Cons: Watch that highway driving! very stiff and bumpy! The Bottom Line: Just know what you're getting into. This ride is not for everybody and an evaluation of your driving habits is very important before you commit to this vehicle.
I think most people, at one point or another, have wanted that Jeep Wrangler. It was my dream car when I turned 16 and earned that much awaited right to drive. However, I didn't end up getting one until 9 years later. No big deal since the Wrangler ... read more

Pros: Relatively uncitified and absolutely true to purpose; may provide incentive to become a DIY mechanic Cons: Questionable reliability may force you to become a DIY-er if you 4-wheel in remote places! The Bottom Line: IF you need this kind of vehicle (and can live with the possibility of becoming your own mechanic), you'll love it. IF you really need a passenger vehicle, KEEP LOOKING.
Love it or hate it. That's what this vehicle is all about. You want compromise? Buy an SUV, not a Wrangler, because the only other "SUV" that hasn't compromised its purpose (well, not much) is a Hummer, and I won't even go there.

Pros: Fun 4X4 that's a convertible or hard top vehicle! MANY accessories. Cons: security/ theft, storage The Bottom Line: Even with all the "bads", I think that from this point forward I will always own a Jeep as a part-time, fun vehicle...that's what makes the "goods" outweigh the "bads".
I've always wanted a Jeep since I was a child. As I've gotten older (26), I realized how impractical they are unless it's a part time vehicle used for fun. So, that's what I bought it for.
