Pros: none Cons: see above The Bottom Line: Just purely horrible.
I owned this junk for a year until at 20 mph I slid in 1 inch of snow and hit a street sign. Yes, a street sign. It bent the frame of the car so badly it was totalled. I was going so slow that when my car went into a spin, I actually had time to check ...

Pros: Price, gas mileage Cons: UNSAFE
An all-around safe car doesn't exist, but I wouldn't put my child in a Kia Sephia. I encourage everyone to review this crash test article before purchasing this car: http://www.hwysafety.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/small_cars/older_models/kia_old.htm ...

Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Depreciates too fast. Too many repairs. Length of time to obtain parts
I purchased a KIA in November 1997 and it has been in the shop apporximately once a month since then. The transmission was replaced, air conditioning, wiper fell off, the lining in the trunk fell out, etc. Now it is in the shop for engince trouble....

Pros: very cheap Cons: holds no value and is poorly made
Coming from someone who is in the car business and deals with resale value everyday I can tell you that we can not even get the wholesalers to look at these. When a customer drives on our lot in one of these we run. They have so much negative equity...

Pros: cheap Cons: cheap
Yeah this car's cheap - but as they say, you get what you pay for. Considering that most decent sub-compacts start at least a few thousand more than the Sephia, it seems a bit weary.
I speak from experience, living in misery with this piece of junk...

Pros: The overall look is appealing. Cons: Road noise, craftsmanship, brakes, power windows, MPG The Bottom Line: Stay away from them unless your are a gluten for punishment, buy a Honda.
I bought this car brand new off the lot at Auburn Valley KIA from the Giant Of The Valley. The first problem was a dead battery, which should have forewarned me of the future, but I was blinded by the appeal of a new car. At about 10,000 miles I...

Pros: The only pro about this car is I like the color. Cons: I have outlined SOME of the cons about this car in the review paragraph. The Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY-IF YOU HAVE A KIA, GET RID OF IT ASAP!!
We have had NOTHING but problems with the Kia Sephia we purchased. Been in the shop for major repairs 12 times since we purchased new. You name it, it has gone wrong and we have been hassled and got the run around almost every time it has been in the ...

Pros: cute on the outside..... Cons: junk on the inside !!!!!
Oh, Lord.....Where do I begin on this hunk of junk! Sorry to be so blunt. But this is the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven! Luckily I did not by this car. It was a loaner from a dealer where my Honda was getting some repairs. Well, this is a car...

Pros: Styling, Incredible handling, Can turn on a Dime, Came with a great Alpine CD player. Cons: Fuel Economy, Exterior Materials, Interior Materials, Kia Service Blaahh!! The Bottom Line: I wouldn't wish this car on my worst enemy! Satan himself doesn't deserve to drive this car!!!
Too much to List!!! My car was in the Shop (21) days in it's first 2 months. The First time we filled the Car with Gas, it only took $3. Gas poured out the Side of the Car, because the Vapor Recovery System was Broken. The Dealership didn't even register...

Pros: Affordable and nice looking. Cons: Transmission needed replacement after 5 1/2 years. Cheaply made materials inside. The Bottom Line: I definitely do not recommend this car at all. I've had to take it in at least 3 times a year and now more often.
The 2000 KIA Sephia was the first brand new car that I ever bought. It only had 11 miles on it. I bought it because it looked nice and was affordable and I really couldn't afford anything else since I have 3 teenagers and now 2 are in college. The 1st ...

Pros: Cute car, decent gas mileage, roomy backseat, compact and easy to drive Cons: Slow, cheaply made parts, uncomfortable seats, locks freeze in winter The Bottom Line: Buy American made
I bought my 2000 Kia Sephia in a crunch in March 2003. My 1993 Cavalier FINALLY gave in to old age after a great 10-year 170,000 mile run (best car I've ever had). I was in college, working 3 jobs to get by and couldn't afford much of a car payment. I ...

This new and compact car is a great value, but not the safest automobile you can buy. The car is very weak and would not survive a head on collision. According to safety tests, this car rated among the worst in the class. The car ranges between...

When I saw the Kia Sephia it looked so cute, I got it all hooked up with power windows and locks and a cd player. Two weeks after I get it my front passenger window gets stuck open. The power window motor broke.
Then my gears started getting...
