Pros: The only pro about this car is I like the color. Cons: I have outlined SOME of the cons about this car in the review paragraph. The Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY-IF YOU HAVE A KIA, GET RID OF IT ASAP!!
We have had NOTHING but problems with the Kia Sephia we purchased. Been in the shop for major repairs 12 times since we purchased new. You name it, it has gone wrong and we have been hassled and got the run around almost every time it has been in the ...

Pros: great ride, afforadble price Cons: speed
The main reason we bought this care was for the price. This care is very affordable. There have been rumors around saying that its not a reliable car, but I find it very reliable. I just had a baby girl 4 months ago and it makes a great family car....

Pros: price, heavy frame Cons: thin metal
My daughter rolled her 1993 Sunbird to avoid hitting a deer, so we went car shopping. After what seemed like days of haggling with dealers and being treated like stupid women, we went to the Kia dealer.
What a nice change, we were treated with...

Pros: reasonable price, roominess, comfortable ride even on long road trips Cons: gas mileage, low trade-in value The Bottom Line: The 2000 Kia Sephia has many good qualities but a prospective buyer must first be sure that all of their expectations can be met before purchasing
When considering a Kia Sephia...one has several things to consider-first off the model year-Kia is still manufacturing new Kias every day so whether a new or used vehicle is desired or even an option-may be a key component in the buying process. Also,...

dependable car, too bad it's not worth anything if you try to trade it in

Pros: Very dependable, good gas mileage, easy to drive, peppy Cons: no resale value
I have a 2001 that has needed no maintenance except routine oil changes, always starts, always runs good, very good mileage, but even when you go back to the same dealer you bought it from to try to trade in towards a higher model they don't want to give you much of a value for it. It's a good car to have but you need to just drive it into the ground because it's worth more than you can sell it for.

Pros: the first 60,000 miles are ok Cons: Dangerous - Brakes are Defective!
I bought a Kia Sephia 2000 in January of 2000 and it only had 12 miles on it. I was young and dumb and naive. My only car had broken down and we needed something fast and cheap. We had a manual transmission which we never had a problem with. Brakes were defective, including the ebrake. It seemed that no matter what the ebrake would latch onto the brakes and tear them up and so on. We replaced the ebrake the first time and I refused to pay for it again. The battery and tires that came with the car were really cheap. The cigarette lighter and console latch broke in the first 3 years. The first lights burnt out in the first three years, along with the windshield wiper motor. Ohh, and the cars are worth nothing. It got to the point where we were spending upwards of $350 a month in repairs at 95,000. I finally just let it sit in the driveway and sold it for $600. What a waste of money.

Pros: PRICE (duh). Reliability. Cons: Slow, powerless, not very classy.
I bought this car used at 80,000 miles, half-expecting a piece of junk that would be more trouble than it was worth, but thinking the price irresistible.
I have had NO problems with this car, which is now at 100K and going strong. Aside from regular wear-and-tear, this car has been a dream. I've been good to it, and it's been good to me.
A cheap dream, of course. This is obviously not a luxury car -- doesn't have a whole lot of power, and everything on the inside is made of cheap plastic. But if you're ok with that, I strongly advise you to at least give it a try. I've been amazed.

Pros: Cheap, Quality parts, Pretty, Great Sound System, I feel safe driving it. Cons: low resale, bad customer service after papers are signed.
After having many Klunkers die on me I thought it was finally time to get a new car. My FIRST new car. That was about 6 months ago. I Love it! I paid a little more than I probably should of but even still it was the cheapest I could find that had soo much. The sound system is actually quite good for a factory system. The handeling is MARVELOUS. Acceleration is slow for me but I've always driven 6 cylenders, this is only 4. The inside is pretty although the window levers (automatic) on the passenger side are loose. I love that I have the latch system so I can feel safe about putting my son in the car. The gas mileage is SUPERB! The customer service is less than desireable. They were super friendly until I signed the papers, now talking to them is like talking to a brick wall.

Pros: Great gas mileage. Comfortable seats. Can easily park in tight parking spaces. Fair price. Cons: Early wear and tear on some parts. Slow acceleration.
I like the body style. Its cute and compact. Perfect for someone who wants to do in town driving but its ok for occasional out of town trips. A little noisy. I wouldn't want to get into a high speed accident with this car though. I don't think its frame and exterior is strong enough or safe enough to handle an accident without walking away with some major injuries. I have dents all over my car, especially from stupid people who don't know how to open their car doors without hitting mine. Notice that its loud on top of the roof when it rains. One day it hailed (small) and i had 4 or 5 small dents on top of my roof!!! I noticed other cars next to me didn't have a single one.
I've always gone in for scheduled maintenance checks and had repairs fixed right away. This car has 75000 miles and hasn't broken down on me yet. I thought it was odd that my motor mounts had to be replaced around 30000 miles, good thing the warranty covered it or it would of cost me over 1000 bucks. I'm hoping it'll last me over 100000.

Pros: Good gas mileage Cons: Dangerous to drive
Not a fun car to have. There have been many manufacturers defects, including faulty brakes, fire hazards, broken down a/c, and much more. The bad brakes have gotten me into two accidents (both of which Kia had to pay for due to their defect). You will just completely lose your brakes and have nothing. The master cylinder gets punctured due to poor placement.
