Pros: Gas mileage Cons: Thin roof...sounds like rain hitting a tin roof
My girlfriend and I bought our 2000 Kia Sephia a few months ago. I have to be honest and say that this experience has been everything but pleasant. The local dealership (on Greystone Blvd.) here in South Carolina where we live originally got our...

Pros: nice sporty look Cons: has some kind of thing that won't let me floor it
I recently bought a 2000 Kia Sephia. I payed about $13,000 after taxes and all. So far the car hasn't given me any problems and I take this thing with me everywhere. It handles good on sharp turns, gets good gas mileage, but the only problem that I have...

Pros: Price, comfort, gas mileage, size Cons: ?size The Bottom Line: An economical car that is good to look at and good to drive.
UPDATE after ***********
My family recently relocated and it wasn't worth the cost of transporting our second car, so my plan was to buy a "new" one in our new location. I never thought I would buy a new car ... they are so...

Pros: Best for the money! Cons: Not for the aggressive driver. The Bottom Line: Buy a Kia! Its been the best purchase I have ever made. Great gas mileage, comfort and peppy.
I bought a Sephia in May, for Mothers Day, for my wife. It wasn't a hard choice at all. All I did was find the color she liked and decided which of three packages I thought she would enjoy the most.
It wasn't a hard choice for the simple...

Pros: very cheap Cons: holds no value and is poorly made
Coming from someone who is in the car business and deals with resale value everyday I can tell you that we can not even get the wholesalers to look at these. When a customer drives on our lot in one of these we run. They have so much negative equity...

Pros: Comfy, Cute, CHEAP Cons: Newish car company
I bought a brand new Kia Sephia 2000 LS about 3 months ago and i have to tell you, I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! The only down side to the Kia is that people don't have much experience with them so they are always very quick to think that they are less of a car...

Pros: affordable, roomy, reliable, cute Cons: no-frills, not for everybody
When my 88 Plymouth Sundance kicked the proverbial bucket, I needed another car fast. I looked at used Jettas and Passats, but I was relatively short of cash and obviously needed something I could afford. I bought a new 2000 Sephia for a few thousand...

Pros: affordable and comfortable Cons: not-so-great customer service
I have owned a 2000 Kia Sephia since October of 1999. It has thus far been very reliable and everything I could have hoped for in a car. Up until the time I bought my Sephia I had driven used cars. I am a recent college graduate who now works and...

Pros: Low Price, durable engine Cons: Lower mileage than expected, cheap finish, not a chick magnet The Bottom Line: Buy a Kia if you are someone who likes to stretch your auto dollar and you don't have your ego tied to your wheels
In 2000 I finally had to give up on my 1993 Suzuki Swift as it smelled like fire and the headlights only worked when the left blinker was on. As a new public school teacher, I had a limited budget but went shopping for brand new cars anyway. A day long ...

Pros: Cute car, decent gas mileage, roomy backseat, compact and easy to drive Cons: Slow, cheaply made parts, uncomfortable seats, locks freeze in winter The Bottom Line: Buy American made
I bought my 2000 Kia Sephia in a crunch in March 2003. My 1993 Cavalier FINALLY gave in to old age after a great 10-year 170,000 mile run (best car I've ever had). I was in college, working 3 jobs to get by and couldn't afford much of a car payment. I ...

Pros: none Cons: see above The Bottom Line: Just purely horrible.
I owned this junk for a year until at 20 mph I slid in 1 inch of snow and hit a street sign. Yes, a street sign. It bent the frame of the car so badly it was totalled. I was going so slow that when my car went into a spin, I actually had time to check ...

Pros: Great gas mileage, price, a car that doesn't quit! Cons: Easy to bump head on trunk latch. The Bottom Line: A great car, especially for the price. If you want a low or no maintenance vehicle, this is the best!
With a pending divorce looming (fall 2001), I first bought my 2000 Kia Sephia by walking into a multi-make car dealership stating, "I need something that I can fit three kids and a grocery store run in, is good on gas, and payments of only about $200....

Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Depreciates too fast. Too many repairs. Length of time to obtain parts
I purchased a KIA in November 1997 and it has been in the shop apporximately once a month since then. The transmission was replaced, air conditioning, wiper fell off, the lining in the trunk fell out, etc. Now it is in the shop for engince trouble....

Pros: excellent car; peppy engine with the 5-speed; only a few minor glitches. Cons: cheap battery; possessed power door locks; pitiful speakers; some interior materials cheap; pathetic HANKOOK tires. The Bottom Line: Buy it (FIVE SPEED LS ONLY), don't expect Honda quality but it will get you there faithfully. Hint: a few cosmetic upgrades makes the car look suprisingly better.
The car has been very good to me. I bought it brand new with 9 miles. My friends liked it and were impressed that I was paying more than they thought I was for it. I do plenty of traveling so I made sure the car was loaded. I have done some cosmetic...
