Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Price is great
Cons: Haven't found anything wrong

I was always a Chevy fan. Had probably about 10 of them. Never had a bad one. The last one I owned was a Caprice. It lasted me 10 yrs. It was about time I got a new car. I had researched a lot of cars. I never heard of the Kia until I went to the...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 1.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Price, gas mileage
Cons: UNSAFE

An all-around safe car doesn't exist, but I wouldn't put my child in a Kia Sephia. I encourage everyone to review this crash test article before purchasing this car: http://www.hwysafety.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/small_cars/older_models/kia_old.htm

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 2.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Good Looking, good amount of room
Cons: Erratic steering, loud engine, cheaply put together

My Friend recently bought a 2000 Kia Sephia, not listening to my friends and I telling him that Kia's are cheaply made, and that is why they are cheap. He ended up not listening, and buying it. Well I've in driven it, and the engine is loud, the...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 3.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: gas mileage, room
Cons: brake problems, power

We bought a 2000 Kia Sephia because my wife was transferred 45 miles away from home, and we needed a car that gets good gas mileage and was known for its reliability. For the money, it is a well built car.It was a roomier car than the Dodge Neon, which...

I am very surprised over my purchase.
It is bigger and roomier than it looked from the outside!!!!!!
I began working for a KIA dealer on December 23,1999. I was without a car and driving my sisters. After a couple of months of...

I bought a 2000 kia sephia a little less than a week ago, and although i realise that i haven't had her for very long, i wanted to put my two cents in.

Definately good value for money!

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Generous space, high equipment levels
Cons: Interior looks cheap, *might not* last

The main attraction of this car has to be the price. At S$69,888 this is definitely the best value-for-money car one can find in Singapore. The Sephia is actually more spacious inside than viewed from outside, and can easily accommodate 3 adult...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: roomy
Cons: none yet

September 1999, we bought our daughter a Kia Sephia LS for her 21st birthday. She loves it!! The Kia has much more legroom in the backseat and the same kind of ride as a 97 Jetta. I have read some complaints from people mostly about the dealers,...

Not too shabby

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Nice body, good heating system, inexpensive
Cons: a few bugs

I like my little Sephia a lot. I think the handling is not too bad for an inexpensive car. The heat works excellent, but doesn't shoot at the foot area very well. The Sephia has a very nice body design. It's very 'sporty'. I got mine in a very cool...

Pros: looks modern, good price
Cons: too light

Last February, my old nova needed to be put to rest. I had spent lots of time and money maintain it. I am a full time college student and also work full time, so my car wasn't getting me from point a to point b anymore. I guess the last straw was the...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Low cost, great gas mileage, fun to drive
Cons: none (so far, so good)

I bought a 2000 Kia Sephia January 3rd and so far I love it. I bought it because of the relatively low price and the commercials showing over 200,000 miles driven. I also liked the looks of it (I picked Pewter color both because it's really pretty and...

by Cougar32
Aug 20 '00

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: great price, good warranty
Cons: not a luxury car, feel some bumps when driving

This is a great car, and well with the time spent at the dealer, took a week, i really got a great deal. I traded in a 1996 Beretta, they offered me 5300.00 other car dealers offered me from 1800.00 to 3000.00, Kia was the way to go for me.

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great running car, Has everything we wanted in a car
Cons: could use better tires for wet weather use
The Bottom Line: I would say the Sephia is a very good value, a good car for a first time buyer, college student or young family.

My wife and I purchased a 2000 Kia Sephia from Brodie Kia in Wichita Falls, TX. We love our little Kia! We've had it since the last week in October of 2000. Our car was built May 29 2000, and it had about 5 miles on the speedo when we first test drove...

Worst Car

Jan 09 '08

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 1.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Affordable and nice looking.
Cons: Transmission needed replacement after 5 1/2 years. Cheaply made materials inside.
The Bottom Line: I definitely do not recommend this car at all. I've had to take it in at least 3 times a year and now more often.

The 2000 KIA Sephia was the first brand new car that I ever bought. It only had 11 miles on it. I bought it because it looked nice and was affordable and I really couldn't afford anything else since I have 3 teenagers and now 2 are in college. The 1st ...
