Pros: Tourqey engine...handles well...look is unique... Cons: Paint peels on plastic front fascia/hood...no trunk light...limited room...requires above average maintenance The Bottom Line: Potentially a fantastic car, could be a dream come true...however, difference between average and awesome cars is in the details, and here, Subaru has missed the mark. Caveat emptor.
Am I satisfied with my Subaru? Yes. Could they have done a better job by paying attention to the little details? Yes. I have owned my Impreza 2.5RS (auto, 4dr) for a little over 4 years, and in that time, I have been very impressed with the ...

IMPREZA WRX 2000 model, After reading many of the opinions on this car, I decided to take one for a drive. The car belongs to a friend of mine, I drove for quite a distance in this marvellous machine. The comfort, power, handling and economy were better...

Pros: performance, styling, packaging, price Cons: not a family car
Have you heard of the europe and japanese-only Subaru Impreza WRX models? You know, the ones with turbos, sport suspensions, and out of this world body kits, and the basis of Subaru's multiple world championship rally cars? Well think of the 2.5RS a...

Pros: Good Price for Performance Cons: Needs a little more power
In sum, the Impreza RS's drivetrain/suspension combination makes a reasonably sophisticated package. A few subcompacts are smoother, and more refined in the details. Yet the RS comes with more entertainment value, and more character, than a Ford Escort...

Pros: small, fast, all-wheel drive, roomy Cons: tight suspension
I bought a 2000 Subaru Impreza wagon in April of this year. I hadn't intended to buy this car, I wanted a Chrysler PT Cruiser. But once I saw the car and then drove the car, I knew this was the car for me.
First of all, even though it is a...

Pros: peppy engine, great handling, comfort, good controls Cons: dopey cup holders, a/c not very powerful
I just got the Outback Sport in May, and am extremely happy! It is very peppy, and more comfortable than I had expected. Gas milage is good, but not as good as my Corolla. I have NEVER felt so secure driving in a rainstorm as in the Sport. The cup...

Pros: Really fun to drive: Quick acceleration, great steering, unbelievable grip in corners. Nice seats too. Cons: Lame stereo, ride could be too firm for some people
I just bought a new Subaru Impreza Wagon L, and I am really amazed at this car! It is my first new car, prior to this I was driving a rusty '84 Chevy wagon. This car seriously amazes me and I definitely recommend it to anyone. It's a car with...

Pros: price is a steal, looks, AWD Cons: deciding the color
I was recently helping my bestfriend buy a car and we happen to come across the Subaru 2.5 RS. This is one great piece of machine. Eventhough he changed his mind about purchasing this car, I still feel that he passed up on a great car. I have to admit...

Pros: Fuel use, styling, power, handling Cons: trunk, back seat room
My experience with the 2000 model RS has been so far excellente. Impreza is so interesting because it uses AWD, while the next mid-size/sub compact car with 4 wheel drive costs about twice as much. The new hood is tres cool. Even though the hood scoop...

Pros: Sweet styling/handling, AWD Cons: power, speed
After going to the San Francisco Intl Auto show I fell in love with a subcompact called the Impreza 2.5RS. The Impreza comes from a long line of rally cars like the Impreza WRX STi Type R. However I wouldn't recommend racing in this subaru (unless...

Pros: Fun/Safe Car, sharp looks Cons: A bit pricey, radio controls in an odd spot
Ok, ok.. I saw this car and fell in love with it. I think that is one of the first things that people tell you NOT to do when you are on a new car lot.. To be completely honest, when I was on the lot, I had NO intent of buying anything. I was just there...

Pros: AWD, flat-four engine, looks, and the list goes on! Cons: Cheap interior materials, crapola sound system. The Bottom Line: Best car in the sub $25K market!
I have been in love with the Impreza for years. In fact, I researched this car for about two years before I actually went out and bought it. I considered many factors and tried to find the "perfect car" under $25k. I came to the conclusion that nothing...

Pros: peppy, cornering ability, stylish look, and absolutely fun to drive Cons: bad cup hold locations, no trunk light, small center console The Bottom Line: This car is for the single person looking for fun and reliability, not to mention being able to sweep past all other cars in the middle of a snowstorm.
I worked at a ford dealership for over three years, driving just about anything imaginable (other than ford from the used car lot). I had driven a few imports, but wasn't to impressed with the ride or interior space.
I was driving a 92 explorer and...

Pros: Reliability, braking, steering, acceleration, exterior styling, gas mileage Cons: Small back seat, small trunk The Bottom Line: Great reliability, steering and braking, acceleration, gas mileage, comfort (for the front seats anyways), and out of this world styling make this car fun to drive and practical.
The advantages of this car are as follows: The 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS is one of the sportiest looking cars on the road today. Not only is it sporty but it's also practical for everyday driving. The vehicle has a lot of ground clearance, due to the ...
