I was recently helping my bestfriend buy a car and we happen to come across the Subaru 2.5 RS. This is one great piece of machine. Eventhough he changed his mind about purchasing this car, I still feel that he passed up on a great car. I have to admit...

Pros: Fun/Safe Car, sharp looks Cons: A bit pricey, radio controls in an odd spot

Pros: Good Price for Performance Cons: Needs a little more power
In sum, the Impreza RS's drivetrain/suspension combination makes a reasonably sophisticated package. A few subcompacts are smoother, and more refined in the details. Yet the RS comes with more entertainment value, and more character, than a Ford Escort...

Pros: Really fun to drive: Quick acceleration, great steering, unbelievable grip in corners. Nice seats too. Cons: Lame stereo, ride could be too firm for some people
I just bought a new Subaru Impreza Wagon L, and I am really amazed at this car! It is my first new car, prior to this I was driving a rusty '84 Chevy wagon. This car seriously amazes me and I definitely recommend it to anyone. It's a car with...

Pros: Good Power, All-Wheel Drive, Good Handling, Unique Cons: Could Use More Power, Notchy 5-speed Tranny, No Trunk Light
I first learned of the Subaru Impreza 2.5RS when visiting the local Subaru dealer to look at the Outback wagon. I took it for a test drive and fell in love.

Pros: Tourqey engine...handles well...look is unique... Cons: Paint peels on plastic front fascia/hood...no trunk light...limited room...requires above average maintenance The Bottom Line: Potentially a fantastic car, could be a dream come true...however, difference between average and awesome cars is in the details, and here, Subaru has missed the mark. Caveat emptor.
Am I satisfied with my Subaru? Yes. Could they have done a better job by paying attention to the little details? Yes. I have owned my Impreza 2.5RS (auto, 4dr) for a little over 4 years, and in that time, I have been very impressed with the ...

The advantages of this car are as follows: The 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS is one of the sportiest looking cars on the road today. Not only is it sporty but it's also practical for everyday driving. The vehicle has a lot of ground clearance, due to the ...

Pros: Quick, Never Gets Stuck, Sweet Looking, and Cheap! Cons: Wish it was a few years younger.
Subaru once called their line of Imprezas the "Pocket Rocket". I'm not sure if anyone is going to read this review but here goes.
I own a 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport wagon. Yeah that's a mouth full. Let's just call it a Scooby! (No not like Scooby Doo unless you're my friend Claire.)
Well all I have to say is that this car MOVES and it NEVER gets stuck! It's really great and the QUICK! I checked out the newer models and they're cool too but I like mine cause well...IT'S MINE! Actually I like mine better cause I got it used and all the things that could go wrong with it did and got it replaced before I got it. And now nothing is wrong with it. Just gotta watch out for the fuzz.
If this Scoobie ever dies I'll be sure to get another one. It's the best car I have ever driven and I live in the Lake Tahoe area! Cheers!

Pros: Handling & Cornering like it's on rails,
State-of-the-Art All Wheel Drive Cons: Rubber trim on passenger door needed replacing after over 4 years.
That's it.
I'm the original owner of a 5 year old (as of May '05) Subaru Impreza 2.5RS in Blue Ridge Pearl. I still love my car as if it were yesterday. In my opinion, you can't get more bang for your buck or be driving a Rally Rocket 'cult status' car for this kind of money anywhere else! To this day, I still have people in gas stations or next to me on the street asking me about my car.
It's a great all season performer!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT ******!

Pros: AWD, awesome steering, brakes, really grips the road, a safe ride, comfortable, really fun! Cons: soundsystem, comfortably fits 2 in the back seat, cupholder locations, windshield wiper(s) speeds, lightweight car
I absolutely love this car... It handles so well. Very dependable car. AWD is always there for you for weather conditions (snow, rain, fog...). Takes corners well, makes tight turns (U-turns), 5-speed has good acceleration, great gas mileage, stops on a dime, and is sporty looking... I would recommend this car and ANY Subaru to anyone! BUILT TO LAST!
