Pros: peppy engine, great handling, comfort, good controls Cons: dopey cup holders, a/c not very powerful
I just got the Outback Sport in May, and am extremely happy! It is very peppy, and more comfortable than I had expected. Gas milage is good, but not as good as my Corolla. I have NEVER felt so secure driving in a rainstorm as in the Sport. The cup...

Pros: Excellent handling and traction, torque, ergonomics, good balance Cons: Back seat doesnt fold down, could use more power, OEM stereo is weak The Bottom Line: Super all-weather driver's car: not as fast as the WRX nor as expensive as an all-rad Porsche.
This is quite the little car. Its handling if anything beats the (legendary) RX-7 whose space it has taken in my garage, and on slick surfaces the Subaru is simply amazing (best I’ve ever driven). Front seat and driver’s ergonomics are basically perfect,...

Pros: Fuel use, styling, power, handling Cons: trunk, back seat room
My experience with the 2000 model RS has been so far excellente. Impreza is so interesting because it uses AWD, while the next mid-size/sub compact car with 4 wheel drive costs about twice as much. The new hood is tres cool. Even though the hood scoop...

Pros: smoothest ride ever, zippy and fun, cute (especially with exterior options), excellent safety ratings Cons: manual shifting a little tricky when going very slow
My first car, the one I learned to drive with, was a full-sized Ford Bronco. My second (college-student) car was a Plymouth Acclaim. The entire time in college, I dreamed of a Subaru Impreza Outback Sport purely on the looks. I loved the boxy, almost...

Pros: peppy, cornering ability, stylish look, and absolutely fun to drive Cons: bad cup hold locations, no trunk light, small center console The Bottom Line: This car is for the single person looking for fun and reliability, not to mention being able to sweep past all other cars in the middle of a snowstorm.
I worked at a ford dealership for over three years, driving just about anything imaginable (other than ford from the used car lot). I had driven a few imports, but wasn't to impressed with the ride or interior space.
I was driving a 92 explorer and...

Pros: Styling, handling, interior space Cons: No turbo ... till next year
I bought the RS25 Impreza about 4 months ago, because of it's great performance, adequate interior, and massive amounts of headroom (I'm 6' 4") and love it.
In the past few months I have put over 10,000 miles on the car, with zero...

I love this car. Ok, so I don't own one, but my fiancees parents just bought a brand new 2000 Impreza Outback Sport. Its sweet. We borrow it from time to time and have even used it for a trip to Albany once(about 4 hours drive for us) We found that it...

Pros: Sweet styling/handling, AWD Cons: power, speed
After going to the San Francisco Intl Auto show I fell in love with a subcompact called the Impreza 2.5RS. The Impreza comes from a long line of rally cars like the Impreza WRX STi Type R. However I wouldn't recommend racing in this subaru (unless...

Pros: A great car to drive. Sheer power Cons: Comfort lost for handling The Bottom Line: Just buy one!
This has to be the definative hottest saloon around.
Think about it. Its basically a wolf in Sheeps clothing.
OK, it may look like an ordinary family car and the only thing that gives its true purpose away is the huge air intake for the turbo...

Pros: Reliable, Fast and Great Looking Cons: A little noisy The Bottom Line: This car is a dream with room to spare and speed to give.
I have had my Subaru Impreza Outback Sport now for a year. It is a great car. It is sporty looking yet has plenty of room in the interior. I have a friend that is 6 foot 3 inches that drove it, and when I asked him if he felt cramped he said "no."...

Pros: All Wheel drive, styling, performance Cons: I can't afford a sedan in each color and a coupe in each color!
I have not bought this vehicle, but i am considering making it my next purchase. I want an Impreza 2.5 RS sedan. This car is beautiful! With a 2.5 L horizontally opposed 4 cyl this car has 165 HP to scoot quite nicely. With Subaru's all wheel drive...

Pros: small engine - only a four cylinder Cons: all wheel drive, abs
I just got back from the LA auto show. All I can say is wow, concerning the 2000 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5 Coupe and four door. It has the style, features and affordability for a new college grad.
The best features are ABS, and all wheel drive...

Pros: gas mileage is great!! Cons: my 1984 subaru wont go over 80 miles an hour
I am a subaru fan. My mom has a subaru impreza. Before her impreza, she had a subaru sedan. My car is a 1984 subaru sedan GL. I bought it for 1,000 dollars with 80,000 miles on it. My car is so reliable. I haven't had to do any major repairs on it...

Pros: Quick, Never Gets Stuck, Sweet Looking, and Cheap! Cons: Wish it was a few years younger.
Subaru once called their line of Imprezas the "Pocket Rocket". I'm not sure if anyone is going to read this review but here goes.
I own a 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport wagon. Yeah that's a mouth full. Let's just call it a Scooby! (No not like Scooby Doo unless you're my friend Claire.)
Well all I have to say is that this car MOVES and it NEVER gets stuck! It's really great and the QUICK! I checked out the newer models and they're cool too but I like mine cause well...IT'S MINE! Actually I like mine better cause I got it used and all the things that could go wrong with it did and got it replaced before I got it. And now nothing is wrong with it. Just gotta watch out for the fuzz.
If this Scoobie ever dies I'll be sure to get another one. It's the best car I have ever driven and I live in the Lake Tahoe area! Cheers!
