Pros: Siennas are available to drive off the lot; they are safe, comfortable, and have many amenities Cons: The Odyssey has similar features for less money
Don't get me wrong--the Toyota Sienna is a terrific minivan. In fact, it's my second choice, and it might be my first choice if it weren't for the price. It is comfortable, has many amenities, and is SAFE, but so is the Honda Odyssey. My husband and I...

Pros: safe, attractive looking, nice ride Cons: price, many nuisances, service The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the Sienna. Based on our experience, the car is nothing but aggravation that does not look to stop but will, probably, continue beyond the 3yr/36K warranty.
In August 2000, we were considering the Honda Odyssey or the Toyota Sienna. Both were comparable in price. Availability was the issue--6-8 weeks for a Toyota versus 4 months for the Honda. We went with the Toyota LE.
The car took a bit...

Pros: Steering is easy, safety Cons: price ( little), accel/braking, crowded in back
The Toyota Sienna is a great van, don't let my rating decive you. It was a little expensive, and it is rather cramped, but it is a good van. I bought the van because even though it was a little expensive, I didn't want to buy GM this time, and this...

Pros: Excellent ride/handling Cons: Sound System
After thoroughly researching a variety of mini-vans, my ultimate choice came down to the Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna. Both vehicles are fine choices, but there were a number of things I preferred about the Sienna over the Odyssey and the other...

Pros: drives very smooth, perfect size, sliding last row Cons: location of windshield wiper control, remote door very sensitive The Bottom Line: Great car, holds value, and rated very well in Consumer Reports
When my husband and I first set out on the search for a mini van I wasn't crazy about the idea. I was a little intimidated by the idea of driving such a big car. The first time I drove it I KNEW I WAS IN LOVE. Let me tell you a little about it.

Pros: dependable, safe, roomy Cons: lots of telemarketing follow up
When we were shopping for a mini-van, we had a lot of input from friends. I have owned 2 Toyota Camry's and I was very satisfied with the quality Toyota provides. We did weigh input from others, but we really only looked seriously at the Sienna. We...

Pros: reliable, quiet Cons: less comfy than others The Bottom Line: I think you'd be happy with this van!
We owned a 1995 Ford Windstar that just had too many issues for us to want to keep it. From the first week of ownership (in July 1994) there was something that needed fixing. In Sept 1999 we decided to cut our losses & find something else to drive our...

Pros: Fairly cheap base price Cons: Does not include very many standard items on the CE
I bought the Toyota Sienna just last May and it is an excellent vehicle. I bought the CE 5 door version. With the MSRP base at $22,858 we got it at $21,989 with no optional equipment. Destination charge was an additional $480.
If you have...

Pros: It's a Siena!! COMFORT and lots of nice extras!! Cons: can't think of any!!
My husband and I had purchased a Toyota Rav4 in February of 97. We had our daughter in March of 1998. The downside to the RAV was that with my daughters seat in the middle of the backseat, if she was fussing and I wanted to sit next to her, there...

Pros: Toyota quality Cons: Not an Odyssey The Bottom Line: The best mini-van you can buy for most "normal" people.
I was originally going to buy the Honda Odyssey but was disgusted at the dealership markup. I loved the van but thought paying $28,800 was a little too much. I went with the next best thing: the Toyota Sienna.
I took an ad from a local paper...

Pros: Rear passenger sliding door Cons: No rear driver sliding door
The 2000 Toyota Sienna LE is an excellent van. I was initially drawn to the Sienna because of the crash test rating. The results proved the Toyota Sienna to be the safest vehicle on the highway. Not the safest in it's category but THE safest! ...

Pros: Safety and comfort Cons: minor details
My husband and I bought this vehicle because we were ready to give ourselves and our almost teenage boys more room on trips. We have an SUV and love it, but needed more leg space. You know the "You're on my side" stuff. My brother has a van...

Pros: everything Cons: small size
We recently had an addition to our family and decided it was time to give up the “sporty” Camry for a family-size vehicle. I have yet to purchase a mini-van, but I have been looking and looking and looking.
Being the computer nerd that I am,...

Pros: Quiet, comfortable ride! Cons: Haven't found any yet
I just recently purchased a brand new 2000 Toyota Sienna. I was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer and found that I just wasn't happy with the amount of passenger room that I had. I didn't want to upgrade to an Expedition because I thought it was too big, so a...
