Pros: everything Cons: nothing
This is my 4th Volvo, and by far the best yet. I test drove the S70 T5 and the standard S70 and found the GLT to be the best of the 3 models. The T5 has explosive power when the turbo kicks-in and the standard S70 doesn't have enough juice at all. The...

Pros: Looks great. Fun to drive when it works Cons: The least reliable car I have ever owned. Always in the shop. Parts unavailable. The Bottom Line: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING ONE. Multiple problems, inadequate supply of available parts and uncaring, robotic customer service are a bad combination. Too may other good cars out there!
DON'T BUY IT.
I could probably end the review here and you'd get my point but if you're even close to thinking about a Volvo I should explain why not to buy one.
This car has been in the repair shop more than the last three cars...

Pros: Power galore, safety features you will never use Cons: Stereo lacks high volume quality
My recent experience with Volvo, all good mind you, had me driving a 2000 S70 T5. The first impression from looking at it was one of Volvo trying to stay traditional, which carried over to the inside. As soon as I started it up, I knew they did...

Pros: Comfort, styling, performance Cons: Reliability, repair cost, dealer & corporate attitude
I have a 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo (predecessor to the S70) that I bought because I wanted a spacious, safe, and reliable family car that was still fun to drive and had more personality than the Accord or Camry.
What I love about this vehicle: ...

Pros: performance; interior; style Cons: rear visibility; rear seat access
I would never have considered a Volvo. Safety is well down my list of priorities, not having had a real accident in 18 years. Performance matters a lot to me, and the Volvos I had ridden in and driven would be an insult to the word...

Pros: Great gas milage, armor-like safety, stylish Cons: Slower acceleration than what you'd expect
My mother has purchased seven Volvo's in a row, starting back in her college days (she was smart). This just shows you one families loyalty to the Swedish car maker, as many other safe families can attest. You probably know that the only vehicle that...

Volvo S70
This was our second Volvo. First one purchased in mid-1980s. Found this to be a very different car, with some of its strengths and weaknesses from early years still intact. Now had the car for a few months with about 6,500 miles...

Pros: Its a convertible AND a Volvo! Cons: Rear visibility with the top up
A month ago I bought the Volvo C70 Convertible and absolutely love it. The model I purchased has the automatic transmission and several options - top-end stereo, full leather seats, auto-dimming mirrors and fancy 17" wheels.
I find the...

Pros: Beautiful to look at and drive. Cons: Pricey.
When people talk of a Volvo many still think of 'a box with wheels'. But they would be wrong, very wrong. A revolution, started first with the elegant S40, and following soon after the popular V40 estate. In a move to perhaps create a new image the Volvo...

Pros: The sex Cons: Drive
I got a lots of honey off it. The drive was smooth when i was having sex. I love for the sex only. A Virgin should buy this car. a pimp should not because they got lots. In the end, even with Quattro, I cannot recommend this car over say, a BMW 740i or...

Pros: Incredible mileage, smooth driving, great pickup, very safe Cons: none
I absolutely adore this car. When i first sat behind the steering wheel, i felt as if i were home. I sank into the soft leather seats, and felt the engine push me intot my seat as I pushed down the accelerater. I first saw this car when I was at a...

Pros: Nice paint. reliable, good stereo. Nice loaner policy. A little exotic Cons: Too expensive. Not that much room. Not that exciting.
It's not even my car. It's two years old. It's the turbo model and it's got great acceleration turbo style, but I don't think it's too sporty. I don't particularly love the seats except for the heater in winter is nice. The seat belt has an annoying...

Pros: Distinction Cons: A rather poor ride for the money.
The 2000 S70 met my requirement of upscale competence. As a Senior citizen I am all too familiar with the Ford, Chevy, Plymouth world.
This car is possibly the most distinctive appearing vehicle available today. Mazdas look like...
