Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: HUGE FUN - Awesome styling, outstanding fit and finish, great performance on the road.
Cons: High price, plastic rear window, sparce storage
The Bottom Line: People who value style and performance should consider this car. It is neither the cheapest nor most expensive car in it's class, but it may be the best.

We baby boomers still have an urge for a car that is nothing but pure unadulterated fun. I recall the mixed emotions I had owning a Fiat X1/9 20 years ago..... it ran great, when it wasn't in the shop. Remember, we were the ones who bought up all those ... read more

Oct 25, 2000 - Updated Oct 14, 2005 (A Very Helpful review)

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Fun, fun, fun; great engines, entertaining chassis
Cons: Far more expensive than a Miata; 3.0 may be a bit much for some
The Bottom Line: Build quality could be better, but very fun to drive.

Every once in a while I toy with the idea of getting a small roadster as a second car. Probably a Miata. I drove one again recently, and if I ever find the time to review it youíll learn why I think itís great fun to drive, as long as you donít have to ... read more

Pros: Great handling, the engine sound with the top down, the classy look and feel.
Cons: Hard to find quality service (it may be Houston and the local Momentum BMW dealership)
When comes to technology, I am one of those late adopters. With cars, my prejudice was at its maximum. A car is something to get from A to B…you know the story! Oh well, everything held true until I stepped into my wife’s new BMW 330i. What I ... read more
