Pros: Reliability and smooth drive; Spacious and sturdy Cons: Do your homework to avoid being ripped off The Bottom Line: For years, she worked the same job and took care of her family. She saved her money and gave herself a reward. A single mother's story of an SUV!
Now that the kids are all grown up and made their first millions during the booming days of dotcom or the New Economy, their mother can pamper herself. And why not? It's time for her to start cashing out a little bit. Mary (not the real name of the...

Pros: Seats eight , competitively priced, and a smooth ride. Cons: Rear windows do not open, and it only comes with a single CD player. The Bottom Line: A fun and reliable vehicle that can hold eight passengers, all of your groceries, and will cost you less than others in its same class.
My first epinion article was written about my disappointment with the 1999 Ford Windstar. To celebrate my return to epinions, I thought it only fitting that I share with you my excitement over my new 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe.
After two years of...

Pros: Smooth ride, decent handling and braking, spacious, comfortable seats, nice looking Cons: Spotty build quality, prices soar with options, no decent base model available The Bottom Line: A great combination of size and maneuverability, it seems to be the best value in the large SUV segment. Definitely a better choice than a small SUV.
I'm about to put in an order for a 2001 Tahoe. My choice is the LS trim level, in 2wd, with a minimum of "extra" options, most of which I find to be of dubious value. We're not buying this SUV to be trendy, or haul kids and gear around. We're buying...

Pros: power, handling, cargo capacity, available features Cons: minor interior fit/finish issues
For the past three years now, I have been sliding around Wisconsin's streets and roads in my rear-wheel drive Volvo. Granted, I am originally from Oklahoma(and therefore I don't really know how to do any real winter driving)where there really isn't all...

Pros: Good Looking, Roomy, Interior Storage Cons: Fuel Economy, Price w/ Options The Bottom Line: A great all around vehicle with loads of interior space. This is the SUV that will get car people into SUVs - it's that good.
The Chevrolet Tahoe is still king. Lets face it, a Suburban is just too big, besides the only thing more cliché than driving around Southern California in a black SUV is…, well I guess there is nothing more cliché than that. SUV’s are so passé, and yet...

Pros: Large, roomy Cons: Gas mileage The Bottom Line: If it lasts 8 years, it did it's job!
I went out looking for a smaller sportier foreign car, but when I looked at the Tahoe it was "game over."
The new Chevy Tahoe is a "real" sport utility vehicle, not like the other wannabes that are more concerned with getting things done in...

Pros: Drives good, great sound system, nice interior Cons: Poor gas mileage, Drive affected by high wind. The Bottom Line: One of the best vehicles Chevrolet has ever produced.
When I saw the price tag on our new Chevy Tahoe for the first time, I like to have passed out. I was not sure it would be worth the money. I am now completely and positively sure it is.
I bought the Tahoe LT model. It came with leather interior,...

Pros: Storage, Passenger room, Towing, Comfortable ride, Reliable Cons: Upholstery, Rust on doors. The Bottom Line: Great vehicle if you're looking for a reliable vehicle to haul your family and lots of stuff.
We purchased our Tahoe LS 4x4 over three years ago with 36,000 miles. It now has 65,000 miles. Overall we don't have any major complaints about the vehicle as it's treated us well but there are definitely a few things Chevy could have done better. ...

The Chevrolet Tahoe LT is not only powerful and roomy, but it is also great looking, comfortable and the features are enough to satisfy the pickiest family.
First of all, I must point out that I purchased the LT model of the Chevrolet Tahoe...

Pros: Solid, comfortable, nimble, powerful Cons: Small tires from factory The Bottom Line: Excellent value, solid truck for anyone. One drive will convince you.
After about two months of comparing and debating, I finally took delivery of my '01 Tahoe this past Saturday. Simply put, the truck is amazing, and I could not be more satisfied.
As the former owner of a '98 K1500 Z71, I am very familiar with...

Pros: Chevy quality. Cons: Body role of an SUV. The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Chevy Tahoe for smaller families. It's seating capacity can be maxed out with comfort.
The Tahoe is a great mid-sized SUV. It's wheel base could be a bit wider but is never a factor in city driving. This SUV has more than enough power and torque. Need to tow your boat, not a problem. You hate the way your SUV corners and parks well...

Pros: Great ride, good creature comforts, nice size. Cons: not much different than 2000 The Bottom Line: The 2001 Chevy Tahoe is a great value, I highly recommend it for it's ride, great looks, and quality.
The 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe is a carryover from last year's model, This is a solid SUV that handles very well, it can take sharp turns like a car. It's very quiet, in fact, for me, a little too quiet. After about a month I decided to put a flowmaster...

Pros: Roomy, smooth ride, lots of cargo space, comfortable atmosphere. Cons: Guzzles gas, center of back doors gets in way of rearview. The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a comfortable ride, lots of cargo and family space, safety, and dependability, definitely consider the 2001 Chevy Tahoe!
This SUV is an all-around great car to drive. I don't personally own one, but I work as a delivery person for a company, and our Tahoe is the delivery vehicle. At first, it was hard for me to get used to driving such a large vehicle (I was used to a...

Pros: Beautiful body, great ride, big motor Cons: Gas mileage, Tough to clean The Bottom Line: Buy it. It will last forever, and treat you like royalty.
I recently purchased my Tahoe and been nothing but pleased. The Tahoe has had quite a long history having been called the K-5 Blazer before its current name. Each model has been a wonderful truck, however, Chevy has now succeeded at making a big,...
