Author's Product Rating: 30 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Mileage (27mpg), 4 door, decent power, unbelievable brakes
Cons: Poor handling and slowish highway performance Seats are not for long trips
The Bottom Line: Good to get around town or commute less than 30 min. Fantastic alternative to a true huge SUV. Get acquainted to its handling limitations.

I bought my 2001 Chevy Tracker used in August '03 so I have had it 15 months. It was a steal at $5700 and only 32K miles. The wife wanted an SUV along the Tahoe or Explorer lines but I talked her into trying out the Tracker. She loves it. It still is ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes

Pros: The Tracker is easy to maneuver and it's size is an advantage.
Cons: Somewhat expensive, small engine.
The Bottom Line: The Tracker has good size and is easy to park in tight places. The downside is because it's a smaller SUV, you can expect a smaller, less powerful engine.

The Tracker ZR2 Wagon is a popular compact SUV from Chevrolet. With a boxy design, the Tracker is more cute than rugged. With four doors and a V-6 engine, this Tracker is easy to maneuver and it's size is an advantage when it comes to parking. Chevy's ... read more
