Pros: Mileage (27mpg), 4 door, decent power, unbelievable brakes Cons: Poor handling and slowish highway performance Seats are not for long trips The Bottom Line: Good to get around town or commute less than 30 min. Fantastic alternative to a true huge SUV. Get acquainted to its handling limitations.
I bought my 2001 Chevy Tracker used in August '03 so I have had it 15 months. It was a steal at $5700 and only 32K miles. The wife wanted an SUV along the Tahoe or Explorer lines but I talked her into trying out the Tracker. She loves it. It still is ... read more

Pros: Towing Capacity, Inline 6 Engine, Gas Mileage, Alloy Rims, Leather Apointed Seating Cons: Freeway Driving, Noisy at High speeds, Tight interior space, basic Suzuki made audio player The Bottom Line: The Chevrolet Tracker is a nice little mini-Ute, this small vehicle is perfect for recreational usage or for being towed behind a motorhome.
Chevrolet introduced the Tracker in 1989 as the Geo Tracker – This mini-Ute was originally manufactured in Japan for one year until 1990 when production shifted to the Canadian GM/Suzuki Joint Cami-Motors manufacturing facility. The Tracker shared it’s ... read more

Pros: Shift-on-the-fly 4WD; 2.5L V6 engine; handling Cons: Gas mileage is the biggest one. The Bottom Line: I recommend this little beast to anyone who's looking to drive something fun, strong, and good looking.
My wife and I just happened across this little beast one day, and it's looks really caught our eyes! There wasn't a ZR2 on the lot at the time, so we test drove one of the 4-bangers, and I must say that I was impressed. Once we started talking with the ... read more

Pros: The Tracker is easy to maneuver and it's size is an advantage. Cons: Somewhat expensive, small engine. The Bottom Line: The Tracker has good size and is easy to park in tight places. The downside is because it's a smaller SUV, you can expect a smaller, less powerful engine.
The Tracker ZR2 Wagon is a popular compact SUV from Chevrolet. With a boxy design, the Tracker is more cute than rugged. With four doors and a V-6 engine, this Tracker is easy to maneuver and it's size is an advantage when it comes to parking. Chevy's ... read more
