Pros: Plenty of power and plenty of room for the family in the quad cab. Cons: Can't really say that there is any.
I bought my 2001 Ram 1500 4x4 in October 2006. Had 72k on it. Runs like a top(now that I put a set of Denso Iridium Plugs in it) I am a hardcore off-road guy, I only use my ram to pull my rig but it has plenty of power, and I have yet to see anything
