Pros: Worker, very basic and technical, reliability, captain chair comfort Cons: Low HP for size, clunky 3rd row, cheap plastic, heavy rear door w/o elec assist The Bottom Line: It's an overall great TRUCK, but if you carrying family over trailers, a FLEX may meet your needs better.
I suppose that there really isn't much bad to say about this car, it's a reliablity tank (not a problem not covered by a recall) as long as things like oil, brake, and tire changes were steady and on time. There is a fair deal of "pet-peeve" cons ... read more

The expedition is the best automobile I have ever owned. I put over 150,000 miles on this truck and have had no engine problems. The only problems I have had are your typical brake replacements and a minor electrical short. The truck is unmatched in ... read more

Pros: looks, Room Cons: Defective Parts, Gas Mileage The Bottom Line: This Vehicle has so many problems I wish I would have bought something else. Everyone I have talked to that owned an Expedition said the same thing.
I Purchased my 2001 Eddie Bauer 5.4 Ford Expedition in Feb. 2001, with thirty four miles on it. The SUV was a must for the room. I am a single mother of four, and a mini van was not even close to what I wanted in looks. I searched for an SUV for ... read more

Pros: Rugged, durable and lots of power. Nice options, too. Cons: Fuel economy that comes with V-8 power. Little inconveniences that add up. The Bottom Line: Need a tough, rugged and dependable SUV that isn't as big as a Suburban but not a "starter" SUV like a Durango? This is your SUV.
SUV's are what they are. I chuckle at people who write that the Ford Expedition is too big, too bulky and rides too rough. It's what an SUV is "supposed" to be. All these things. If you want to take the scenic tour through the nice paved roads of ... read more

Pros: Solid chassis from time tested F-150 pickup; roomy, rugged, & fun Cons: Gas mileage is typical of SUV's (12-16mpg); sticker price shock The Bottom Line: This is a big dog! If 4 wheel drive, roominess, and ruggedness are more important than fuel economy, then this is your ride.
The 2001 Ford Expedition is a Sports Utility Vehicle that gets you noticed. It's big, it's bad, and it turns a few heads when you drive it. This beast also causes others to stop and gawk when you go to parallel park into a tight space, for that ... read more
