Pros: Engine and Transmission last LONG time Holds up well in accidents Parts found anywhere Cons: Trunk latch has had issues Rear doors locks stuck Lights difficult to install. Pros: Fantastic turning radius. You can make a u-turn in no space at all.
Cons: Brakes need to be replaced more often than normal. Electrical and idle problems. The Bottom Line: If you need a vehicle for hauling cargo - the interior is a major plus. The turning radius is a plus.
The other items make this an avoid.
Leg Room a problem for taller passengers in back seat. Issues with excessive brake wear. Stalling when air conditioning is engaged ie at traffic lights. Wiring harness in lift gate needs replacing very early. Ford did not design access for this ... read more
