Pros: Solidly built, many "options" are standard, decent power in the V6. Cons: Warranty only 3 years, 36,000 miles. Minor "recall" with a loose component which may rattle. The Bottom Line: The 2001 Accord is a definite buy. You get a lot of car for the price.
My parents bought a 1994 Accord EX a few years ago, and I was always impressed with that car. It had the 4 cylinder VTEC engine, leather, moonroof, etc. The stereo was decent, but it has a problem with volume control. My wife and I found ourselves ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes
Pros: Impeccable build quality, excellent engines, high level of equipment, appealing style, reliable, high resale value Cons: Not sports car fast, stock tires compromise handling, light steering, a bit sedate, too common The Bottom Line: A refined, sporty, luxurious, safe and comfortable personal coupe that emphasizes quality and thoughtful engineering along with class-leading reliability, resale value and a high level of standard equipment.
I love this car.
Now, don't write me off as another Honda cultist, but owning an Accord reveals why this is the most consistently best-selling car in America. Accord has been one of the top 3 most popular cars over the last 15 years because ... read more

Pros: Smooth drivetrain, good ergonomics, good looks, good reliability, good resale value. Cons: A little underpowered, not considered a "driver's car". The Bottom Line: A sleek, efficient coupe that is easy to live with. Does everything well, is dependable, and even fun.
I bought this car because Honda was able to finance me at a reasonable rate. I liked the looks of this car and I knew the resale value of this car would get me some of my money back down the road. I own the 4 cylinder with the 5 speed standard. It has ... read more

Feb 1, 2001 - Updated Feb 9, 2001 (A Somewhat Helpful review)
Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes
Pros: smooth and quite ride, good on fuel, great value, nice 200hp on v6, traction and climate control Cons: styling a bit off from previous years,no heated seats option, gearing a bit to tame, The Bottom Line: All round great car, value, power, luxury with a rock solid reputation. This car really surprised me, and the wife said there was enough cash left to buy sox's tickets
I tested several cars in its class before settling on the accord.
Mitsu- gallant - engine way too jerky and the interior was very cheap looking and feeling.
Toyota- camry- very bland and options list was a nightmare, also i felt it ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 20 Recommended: No
Pros: Quality control, resale value, reliability Cons: acceleration, handling, price, looks bland The Bottom Line: Reputation and reliability are not adequate compensation for performance and comfort in my opinion and the Accord needs to "gear up" to get me to consider buying it.
The 2001 Honda Accord is the perfect example of a sedan that proves good advertising and brand name appeal perseveres over quality performance.
Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder and in my opinion, the 2001 Honda Accord ... read more

Pros: Less money pit than other cars. Cons: Like all other cars, its a money pit.
Face it. Having a car is a pain in the rear. It costs money; to buy, to maintain, to do nothing other than transport you from point a to point b. That is where my Accord shines. Low maintenance costs (knock on wood), gas mileage good (great for the

I've owned my 2001 Honda Accord (the V6 with leather, sunroof, etc) since April of 2001. I love it. It runs great, the pickup is sufficient, sounds good, drives nice. I have no complaints. It provides all the features for it's class and price of

Pros: Very high quality car...pays a lot of attention to detail. Handles great. Cons: Honda made a small V-6 for this car compared to other V-6s
I bought my Honda Accord EX V-6 Sedan brand new in 2001. This car has been perfect. I am a college student, and I do not have the money to spend on fixing little things that may go wrong, but I have NO complaints. The steering is just as tight as when I
