Pros: Very safe, comfortable, dependable family car. Toyota rules! Cons: Probably not much of a babe magnet, but hey, you never know The Bottom Line: I feel very safe and comfortable in this roomy car. It has a good ride, good safety rating, and good references!
I just got my Camry LE about 2 months ago. So far, I am very satisfied with it. My best advice to anyone buying a car is do your research, it pays off.
There are several reasons why I chose the Camry. My top priority was to get a safe car,...

Pros: Modern, sleek, powerful engine, available standard transmission, comfortable interior, quiet & smooth ride, extremely reliable Cons: Cupholders :) The Bottom Line: Smooth ride, stylish, powerful engine and drivetrain, very reliable, a Toyota... what else could you want out of a car?
What can I say, I love this car. I have been driving this car, off and on for the last seven months. After learning how to drive on a 1992 manual 5-speed Camry I suppose I am a little biased. I did everything in that car, I suppose everyone had a...

Pros: Rides great, acceleration (V6), JBL stereo, materials quality, very comfortable. Cons: The paint chips a little easy. The Bottom Line: This seems to be a great car. After 22,000 miles I have no regrets at all.
After reaching over 133,000 miles on my 1998 Ford Escort, I started to look around for something newer and with fewer miles. I had ruled out pretty much all the domestic cars in my price range, and had essentially narrowed my search to either a Nissan ...

Pros: Quality Construction, Safety, Responsive V-6 Cons: Tacky Wheel Covers, Austere-Looking Interior
My girlfriend is still looking for a car to replace her aging 1991 Mercury Tracer. She is still seriously considering a Chevrolet Impala LS, but has taken the opportunity to test-drive a new Toyota Camry LE. The LE is Camry's middle-of-the-line model,...

Pros: Engine, price, roominess Cons: Lack of high end luxuries The Bottom Line: The Camry is a good value with enough luxury to make it comfortable without raising the price too much.
I recently test-drove the 2001 Toyota Camry. Some things just keep getting better with age. Almost two decades of engineering and refinement have created Camry's distinguished reputation. This car, drives comfortably, handles well, and provides luxuries...

Pros: Quiet, large, low maintenance fees and insurance. Cons: Plagued by problems, soft brakes, terrible service. The Bottom Line: Avoid it. I'm sorry I bought it.
(I have submitted a very positive review I in August 2001; at the end there's an update you may want to read, with what happened in the last 6 months that made me change my opinion).
I've bought a 2001 Camry CE V6 (not available in US, only in...

Pros: Powerful V6 engine, comfortable front seating, tons of aftermarket support Cons: Back seats a bit cramped and almost completely unsuitable for over 5ft10in adults. The Bottom Line: This car has something for everyone, be it performance, aftermarket support, comfort, luxury. Just don't expect 1.9% financing. Toyota is an arrogant company, since they know they sell well.
Ok, I decided to get out of the SUV thing. The gas mileage was oppressive, and I really had no need for that kind of space. Besides, I was getting sick of having all my friends asking me to help them move.
I'm an early 30's guy. I'm married...

Pros: Dependable as can be. Most likely to resell better than any other. Cons: Factory tires lasted not even a year. The Bottom Line: Get this car for all of the right reasons(Reliability, Safety, Comfort, Resale)
No other car gave me a sense of a good purchase decision. We all know cars depreciate, with the exception of the new VW Beetle one year after it hit pavement in America and a few other classic cars. The case with today's auto purchase is the product is...

Pros: Bulletproof car, little to no problems on the Camry line. Cons: Weak brakes and weak springs. Does not fare well in fender benders
My Mom owns a 2001 Toyota Camry. She also owned a 99, and a 94. Toyota makes one of the most reliable cars on the road, exceeded only by Honda. I took a rocket launcher and shot at the engine one day, and the engine was fine (really).

Pros: Reliable Cons: V-6 mileage disappoints, front seats not that comfortable. The Bottom Line: A perfectly reliable boring car with ample power.
This is my wife's car which we bought December, 2000. We also looked at an Accord. We choose the Camry because the transmission shifted smoother, and interior was quieter. Handling seemed somewhat better in the Accord. Otherwise, the two were...

Pros: Refinement, resale, ride Cons: Suspension, styling
I work for a major car rental firm and have an opinion on just about every car out there.
First of all, there is no practical reason to spend more than $25,000 on a new car. Except for ego and extremely high performance, you can be sated with...

Pros: Roomy
Back seats fold down
Fabulous gas mileage Cons: No keyless entry
No side airbags
No under seat latch system The Bottom Line: This is an excellent, safe, roomy small family car. The gas mileage is reason enough alone to own one!!
We lost our 2003 Chevy Malibu in a wreck in April 2004, so we began the car search immediately after. Since we were expecting a child, we wanted something safe and comfortable. We'd only heard good things about the Toyota line, so we started test ...

Pros: Quality, Reliability, Efficiency, Value. Cons: Dull to look at, be in, and drive. The Bottom Line: If Toyota ever makes washing machines, we should all buy them. Skip the Camry for something more dynamic on the road.
I recently drove a 2001 V6-equipped Camry for a week on business. Let me say right at the start that the car was excellent through and through. I wouldn't buy one, though, and would not recommend it to friends. Let me admit that my lack of enthusiasm...

me, my mom, and my dad are all leasing the same 2001 camry CE. this was a HUGE change from the car we had before, since it was a 1998 camry CE (in case you don't know, they're virtually identical). we didn't really get this car to be a chick magnet, a...

Pros: Quiet, Reliable, Good gas mileage Cons: too quiet, can't feel the road, non-edgy styling The Bottom Line: Great car. People mover. Not an experience. No one will stare at the car when you drive by.
Every year one of my siblings graduates from college, and every year my grandparents buy one of us a Toyota Camry. Although it isn't the typical college graduates choice, it is a good car.
I would buy this car because it will last forever and...
