4 years later, the 2002 RSX still compares well to new cars!

Pros: Great handling, good performance, great value for the dollar
Cons: Flaky side airbag sensor, factory stereo is garbage
The Bottom Line: Well-designed car that's fun to drive. Absolutely recommend it if you're looking at cars like a Hyundai Tiberon, Ford Mustang, Eclipse, used Mazda RX-8, etc.

I've been toying with the idea of trading in my SUV for a while now, and getting another sports car or sporty car. (In the past, I've owned 2 different generations of Toyota Supras, a '98 Trans-Am, a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T, and even a Pontiac Fiero SE ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Great Handling, Acceleration, Comfort, and 6-disc in dash!
Cons: Navigation system not available. No auto sunroof open or close.
The Bottom Line: Buy it because you love speed and handling at a decent price

I've had a Type-S for 9 days now and it's awesome. I originally test drove a automatic (non Type-S) and didn't care for it too much. I was trading in my leased TL and wanted to buy a car (as opposed to leasing another one). The power of the TL was...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: sporty exterior, cockpit-like interior, seating
Cons: confined rear seating, interior storage space
The Bottom Line: Test drive it, you'll fall in love.

My RSX isn't even 3 weeks old and I've put nearly 4000 kilometers on it. It is such a dream to drive! (I'm a big time commuter) I opted for the Premium model (canadian) due to the fact that I'm 21 and insurance premiums for the type-S are insane!

Amazing car

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Quick, comfortable, stylish, little car handles with the best, standard options galore
Cons: rear headroom, bumpy/gravel roads really bumpy, unprotected area of radiator, 91+ octane fuel
The Bottom Line: Under $25K safe to call a sports car? One drive you'll swear that it's nothing less. Reliability of a Honda with the luxury, feel, and sound of a BMW.

As a former valet, I've parked nearly every type of car out there from Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Jags down to Fords, Chevys, and cars I had to crank with a screwdriver. The RSX is an absolute dream for the price and the quality of car you get.

Pros: Very fast, very reliable! What do u expect, its from Acura
Cons: 2 seater not sutible for a family!

RSX Type S, Acura starting to take back the Sport Luxury department.

by denniskim

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: More upscale, freshened look, and quality to match the Acura name.
Cons: Too much quality? Too much upscale?
The Bottom Line: For a daily driver you can turn up on the weekends, this is your choice. Fresh and class winning, very good. Sporty feel, smooth engine.

It all started in the 80's, when Honda decided to market a more upscale wing, called Acura, which I might add only exists in North America. The Legend was a great example, quick, and luxurious. Then Acura starting going alphanumeric. Legend became RL,...

Pros: R: Relentless Performance, S: Sporty & Stylish, X: Xcellence Hits The Spot...
Cons: No Arm Rest...But Who Cares!!!
The Bottom Line: Third time is STILL a charm with Acura...but this time they have won me over for life!!!

The Fazio Overview

This is my third Acura...and I have ZERO complaints, still!!! The Acura Integra was such a popular car with a massive cult following (rent "The Fast & The Furious if you want to see the Integra FLY!!!), so I decided...

Pros: Great driving pleasure, amazing looking, reasonably priced for the features
Cons: Would have liked more power (HP)
The Bottom Line: Acura looks chic, perfect for youngsters and provides great driving pleasure

I was in my grad school when I first noticed Acura Integra which seemed like a pretty impressive and a trendy car. Two years later when I joined my first job in 2001, I saw an other Acura which according to me seemed more eye-catcy. That car indeed was ...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Body & interior style, engine purrs at high RPMs
Cons: Bumpy ride, poor subwoofer, tires too small
The Bottom Line: Since I've gotten mine, all my friends want a Type S!

Before I leased this car, I was looking at for a daily driving car that I could also have a little fun in. Performance was more important to me than exterior looks, and I wanted to be more than comfortable inside the car. I looking at the Nissan SER...

Love my new RSX

by nikki_q
Jul 25 '05

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Interior fit and finish, styling, many standard features, safety, handling
Cons: in-dash changer not available on base model, stock tires stink
The Bottom Line: I researched this purchase thoroughly, and the RSX is far superior to any car in its price range. I love the combination of luxury and sport features, all standard.

I have driven a '93 probe for five years, and was ready for a new ride. My probe was running fine, but the interior was falling apart around me - just about every plastic part had broken off at one point or another. I decided to look for a nice, ...

RSX = sport and luxury, another Acura success.

by haevolution
Sep 08 '01

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Sporty, refined, athletic, and upscale.
Cons: Silly name (the RSX is an Integra everywhere it's sold except North America).
The Bottom Line: The RSX is a worthy successor to the vaunted Integra because it moves the Integra to a new level of luxury while retaining most of the Integra's sporty origins.

The 2002 Acura RSX is the replacement for the 3rd generation Integra which was produced for eight years. Given that most cars are redesigned every four years, the Integra was an automotive dinosaur when it was finally retired. However, the 1994 to 2001...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Looks like a mini supped-up Civic. 6 gears to play with. 200hp. Acceleration...aaaah. Great car.
Cons: Noisy inside compared to Toyotas and larger Acuras. Small but not a family car.
The Bottom Line: Great car for those who long to have a Ferrari but do not want to sell their soul for it:) Great acceleration and handling.

I purchased the basic RSX model for around $20,000 which got me a 6 gear manual transmission and 200 horses. If you plan on going on a road trip buy a van. This car’s only purpose is providing its owner with an adrenalin rush.

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Stylish look and sports-like feel
Cons: Lacks factory warranty options like 17" wheels, Xeon HID, LSD, and Satellite Navigation system.
The Bottom Line: The RSX by far exceeded my expectations in terms of style and quality

When i was looking for a new car, I researched many vehicles in the 20-25k range and choose the RSX based on features, quality, and performance. Many other vehicles where comprable or exceeded in features (granted many where additional options) and...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Acceleration, interior, great handling and braking
Cons: Looking into blind spots
The Bottom Line: Moderately priced sports car with a very luxurious interior and is one of the best driving experiences you'll get

Bottom line: This is such a fun car to drive. My RSX is still less than three weeks old and I almost have 900 miles on it. My car is the base model with leather and no extra options.

I loved the look of the exterior of the car. Very sleek and...

Author's Product Rating: Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Beautiful exterior, easy & FUN to drive, reliable, affordable ..
Cons: When the RSX came out, they got rid of the integra =(
The Bottom Line: BUY IT .. its definitely worth the money & more.

In January of 2001, I purchased my first car, the Acura Integra. It was the car of my dreams; it was fast, compact, & so unbelievably reliable. After having this car as my pride and joy for about a year & 1/2, I decided I wanted something a little...
