Pros: Smooth, powerful engine. Many standard features, comfy seats. More sophisticated, and still fun to drive. Cons: Less torque means higher revs. New looks and personality may not excite some younger buyers. The Bottom Line: The RSX is the mature, more refined replacement of the late Integra. Though much of the youthful personality is lost, it's a fine car, and still fun.
WHAT'S IN A NAME? Noticed a name trend with Acura cars? It all started around 1996, when Acura started dropping car names in favor of "upscale-sounding" alphanumeric labels. Examples? The Legend became the “3.5RL”. Then Acura added the “TL” and...

Pros: Sporty, refined, athletic, and upscale. Cons: Silly name (the RSX is an Integra everywhere it's sold except North America). The Bottom Line: The RSX is a worthy successor to the vaunted Integra because it moves the Integra to a new level of luxury while retaining most of the Integra's sporty origins.
The 2002 Acura RSX is the replacement for the 3rd generation Integra which was produced for eight years. Given that most cars are redesigned every four years, the Integra was an automotive dinosaur when it was finally retired. However, the 1994 to 2001...

Pros: Great value and top notch features for the price! Cons: NONE The Bottom Line: Way to go ACURA!!
I have read some of the other reviews and all I can say is what more could you expect for the price? You are getting a great car from a LUXURY brand and along with that you get the luxury treatment at the dealership. I bought my wife a base model RSX...

Pros: Great power, stability, styling, and most of all price Cons: Rear seating is very minimal The Bottom Line: A great sports car for the money. Great value!
If sports cars are your thing but you don't have the bucks to dish out for a Porsche, then maybe you should take a look at this little screamer from Acura. The RSX comes in 3 models the base, premium and the TYPE-S.
The base a premium are...

Pros: Refinement over Integra, Smooth Ride, Excellent interior Cons: Where is the torque, Civic look-a-like, Brake Fade The Bottom Line: All I can say is that their is so much to choose from, other than the RSX TYPE S; don't rush into buying the car because of its name.
I have been searching the market for a fun car purchase. Before I buy any car, I always research for background knowledge about the car that I will think about buying. The car mags got me so excited over the new RSX. They claimed it is quicker than...

Pros: Excellent ergonomics, Quicker than the competition, Buttery smooth shifter and accurate steering Cons: Lots of engine road and interior noises, braking not as inspiring as it should be The Bottom Line: Driving this car is a blast. I put 200 miles on it the first day just driving around town. It's a little louder than I'd prefer but it's still great
Without a doubt, of all the cars I've driven this is my favorite. And I've driven quite a few. The highlight of my day is usually driving back and forth to work. As with any other car though there are a couple of things I'd change about it. Primarily...

Pros: Body & interior style, engine purrs at high RPMs Cons: Bumpy ride, poor subwoofer, tires too small The Bottom Line: Since I've gotten mine, all my friends want a Type S!
Before I leased this car, I was looking at for a daily driving car that I could also have a little fun in. Performance was more important to me than exterior looks, and I wanted to be more than comfortable inside the car. I looking at the Nissan SER...

Pros: Sporty, reasonably priced and fun to drive. Cons: Blind spots, hard to get in and out of, high rated (bad for insurance). The Bottom Line: I like driving it but I am very petite. It is just not a useful car overall. Good for a loner who doesn't give rides.
I guess things have changed in my life in the last year. My Acura RSX was suitable for my life style years ago but as time goes on, I don't really want this car anymore. Don't get me wrong, this car is fun to drive, easy to control and sporty. If you ...

Pros: Powerful flawless ride. No need to replace; timing belt(it has a chain), fuel filter... Cons: None as of yet.
My 2002 RSX Type-S is hands down worth the investment. On top of outstanding performance at 100,000 miles and climbing, she is getting better with age. Maintenance; changed tires @ 64,000 miles. Front brakes @ 80,000 miles. Spark plugs (Iridium works best) 98,000 miles.

Pros: 200hp. 6spd. seats. price. looks. warranty. interior. quality of build. Cons: weak speakers(subwoofer--what subwoofer?), stock tires, standard halogen headlights.
I finally moved away from the GM vehicles to an import. And my am i glad. This car is so much fun to drive its unbelievable. The styling outside is subtle but very attractive. Not too many other cars look like the RSX. I opted for the Type S version. Even though the car is great stock, i've always been the kind of person to modify the car. So if your interested in modifying cars, this one is great for that too. (pics of my car can be found on www.cardomain.com/id/paulrsxs. The car shifts like a dream. Very characteristic of past acuras and hondas. The leather interior is very nice, seats are deap and supportive which limits sliding around during turning. The indash 6 disk changer is another plus. The speakers are a little weak though. There are so many good things to say about this car i can't say them all at once.

Pros: Great handling with a nice ride. Cons: Clutch pedal is a bit stiff.
I recently bought a mint 2002 RSX Type-S (70,000 miles)outfitted with a full Xenon body kit and Big Brake upgrade, a 6-speed; just the way I lke it! No "weenie-matic" for me!!I went ahead and tweaked the car even more, adding rear fender flares, side window covers, underbody light kit, Gredy dual-looking cat-back EVOII exhaust, a powered subwoofer and full suspension upgrades with all of the strut bars, c-pillar bars, underbody bracing, header, etc. All I can say is WOW!! What an awesome car! Fast and great handling!! I also have 2 Corvettes (a Supercharged LT-4 '96 Coll. Ed. and a 427 Smallblock cid stroker '75 5-speed Stingray) , a Supercharged Porsche 911 6-speed, '71 Supercharged Chevelle SS454 5-speed, and yet my RSX is still LOADS of fun to drive and yet rides NICER than most!! Future plans include a Jackson Racing or Comptech Supercharging system along with a Greddy Fuel Management System since I do not have to send my ECM anywhere this way.

Pros: - safe -powerful -elegant -precise design Cons: -too tight interior cabin
Acura RSX has very comfortable seats and looks superb.. Those shapes fits the imago RSX has. Acura RSX is an ideal base to get on work with tuning. You can get a very thundering power out of the engine and still more good-looking than it is as a stock car. A good choice for those street racing enthusiasts. Side pieces and front bumber are not obligatory but they inevitably give more style! The lines of the dashboard instrumentation and uncompromising level of its quality is something you might be amazed at.
The craftsmanship and engineering is an evidence of precise work and design and materials are cutting-edge.
You can leave the park with no fears, even in events of collisions you and your occupants health are protected in the best way.

Pros: Good gas mileage. A lot of power for a 4 cylinder Cons: Small in back horrible stock tires.
This car is very nice, small but nice, I wouldent recomend this car for a family just because it is more of a toy then a family car. The 2 styles are the base model 160Hp and the Type-s 200Hp i like the type-s better because it has alot of power once it hits the I-VTEC and it is semi roomy in the front for a sports car but in the back it is very small. I recomend this for all of you street racers out there because it is very easy to fix up to make faster and it comes very fast stock!

Sweet Little Car

Pros: Stylish look - Fast, yet economical - Neat Features Cons: Harsh ride on rough roads - Limited backseat for tall folks
General:
Purchased our 2002 RSX in August 2001. Have 28K miles on the odometer now, and still enjoy the car's performance. Received many complements on the exterior and interior styling. Love the Hatchback feature, which is so convenient for hauling a large number of items. This car is definitely meant for two passengers, and the ride is bouncy on bad roads. However, on most highways it is quite comfortable. No complaints on handling.
Performance:
Cruising at 80 MPH at only 3000 RPM , easily get 32 MPG on long trips. The 160 HP engine has plenty of get up and go for most occasions. The efficiency and performance of the engine, coupled with the automatic transmission is a hard combination to beat.
Reason for Buying:
This car looks great, has so many standard features, performs well under all conditions, and all for a very competitive price.

Pros: Speed, transmission, noise, handling, 5 CD changer. Cons: Little room in back... thats all really.
A lot of people say that a con of the car is the noise... I LOVE the noise! THe seats hold you in really good when going around those hairpin turns and the acceleration is really quick. THe only problems with mine are the lack of space on the back, which I don't really mind too much, since I'm the driver; and the wheels that come with the car, they don't grip anything but dry concrete. I bought some now ones and they work much better.

Pros: Compliment attracting seats, turns on a dime, good power and better gas mileage Cons: Boomerang spoiler
My RSX is my ninth car (in only 3 years BTW). I'm a big Honda fan and when I bought this car near the end of '05, it became the best thing I've ever both. Super smooth looks, great handling and an engine that sings at any speed. Definitely the best car I've owned and will for a long time to come. 89k on the odometer and not even a hint of a problem in sight. Best gas mileage to date 27 City/ 40 Highway. Can't beat that with a stick.
