Pros: Great Handling, Acceleration, Comfort, and 6-disc in dash! Cons: Navigation system not available. No auto sunroof open or close. The Bottom Line: Buy it because you love speed and handling at a decent price
I've had a Type-S for 9 days now and it's awesome. I originally test drove a automatic (non Type-S) and didn't care for it too much. I was trading in my leased TL and wanted to buy a car (as opposed to leasing another one). The power of the TL was...

Pros: Acceleration, interior, great handling and braking Cons: Looking into blind spots The Bottom Line: Moderately priced sports car with a very luxurious interior and is one of the best driving experiences you'll get
Bottom line: This is such a fun car to drive. My RSX is still less than three weeks old and I almost have 900 miles on it. My car is the base model with leather and no extra options.
I loved the look of the exterior of the car. Very sleek and...

Pros: Looks like a mini supped-up Civic. 6 gears to play with. 200hp. Acceleration...aaaah. Great car. Cons: Noisy inside compared to Toyotas and larger Acuras. Small but not a family car. The Bottom Line: Great car for those who long to have a Ferrari but do not want to sell their soul for it:) Great acceleration and handling.
I purchased the basic RSX model for around $20,000 which got me a 6 gear manual transmission and 200 horses. If you plan on going on a road trip buy a van. This cars only purpose is providing its owner with an adrenalin rush.
The...

Pros: Sport and Luxury in the same (affordable!) package. Cons: Possibly not enough of one or the other (see my Pros) for some buyers. The Bottom Line: If you like luxury AND sporty AND reliability, and can only afford one car, this is it!
I looked long and hard for a car that would be a good grocery-getter, but with some niceties as well as some oomph. Oh, and I didn't want to spend upwards of 35-40k!
After considering a bunch of different cars that included BMW 3-series, the...

Pros: Incredibly responsive, quick, great interior, great exterior Cons: Can be pretty rough on city streets The Bottom Line: The Type S is a great combination of performance and luxury. Check one out!
I was able to get a RSX Type-S before anyone else in my state. I had ordered it, and I picked it up the day before they were formally introduced.
I actually bought it without even driving it. I had read countless reviews, and all of them...

Pros: Smooth acceleration, tight handling, comfortable and attractive interior. Cons: Slightly bumpy ride. No arm rest. Comes stock with Michellin tires. The Bottom Line: If you liked the Integra, you'll love the RSX. If you never experienced the Integra, don't miss out on the RSX!
Alas poor Integra...I knew him well
Well, maybe Shakespeare would have written something similar had he been around to see the retirement of the Acura Integra and the birth of the RSX. I like to think so anyway. Shakespeare would at least...

Pros: Great value, nice quality, excellent power and comfort Cons: No side mouldings, stock stereo could use more oomph The Bottom Line: The most fun you'll have on 4 wheels for the money as long as you don't expect this to be a full blooded race car.
I recently purchased thr rsx-s and can say that it seems to be a great value for the money. I had considered a 2002 Celica, but after driving both and looking at the difference between what you get on the Acura vs. what's optional on the Toyota this made...

Pros: Inspiring drive, Road feedback, Handling, Gear Box, Bose sound system, Best engine in it's class Cons: Engine power comes at high revs, No standard fog lights and rear spoiler, costly options. The Bottom Line: Overall I love this car, and I recommend it to you without hesitation, given it answers your needs, because of it's comfort, performance, reliability, and fun factor.
Why I purchased a Type-S:
Before the RSX Type-S, I owned a Mazda Protege ES-GT. I liked the car because it handled well in most circumstances, was somewhat practical, and reliable. But I wanted something faster, with a stronger chassis, and...

Pros: Handling, Fuel economy, Interior finish Cons: Ride quality, Rear visibility, Power The Bottom Line: Excellent car a good price. Rock solid quality.
Buy the Type S if you have the need for speed. Be prepared for very harsh ride.
I purchased the 2002 RSX Premium with manual 5 speed in September. Below is my impression of the care after 4 months of ownership.
First I need to explain the reason I picked the RSX premium over other cars in the market. After driving my old...

I love my car! I got my used 2002 Acura RSX with 19,000 miles on it in January of 2005. She now has 63,000 miles on her and i still love it. I have an hour commute to and from work/class everyday and i never get sick of driving her! She is a fun car to ...

Pros: Awesome gas-mileage (30 average). Great handling. Versatility. Super reliable. Absolute blast to drive. Cons: No heated seats, no power seats. The Bottom Line: To sum up my review, I Highly recommend this vehicle and take my hat off to Acura for building a reliable, fun, and overall pleasurable vehicle to own and drive.
I've actually had the pleasure to personally own one of these fine vehicles, and here's my un-biased opinion on it. In stock form the car was perfect for the average Joe. It was slightly underpowered for my liking, so I had an aftermarket ...

I was in my grad school when I first noticed Acura Integra which seemed like a pretty impressive and a trendy car. Two years later when I joined my first job in 2001, I saw an other Acura which according to me seemed more eye-catcy. That car indeed was ...

The RSX was named best car in its class in numerous comparisons, I couldn't agree more.
It has a stylish design, great engine, almost every option you could want is standard. Seats are very comfortable, small steering wheel makes it feel like...
