Pros: MPG, silky six, cargo capacity, fun to drive, AWD and traction control grip great Cons: Harmon Kardon stereo needs a subwoofer, window regulators break. The Bottom Line: If your a skier/snowboarder looking for a replacement for your gas guzzling SUV then this may be the perfect car for you!
This past ski season I was in Vermont and I took a corner a little too fast and my Nissan Pathfinder slid right off the road and into a ditch. So when I was looking for a new set of wheels I had a list of things the car would have to do for me. ... read more

Pros: pretty much everything to do with a car: design, engine, value, quality Cons: no panic alarm, lack of gadgets for the money, needs 6th gear. The Bottom Line: Unless you're in LOVE with what you're driving, if you have the chance to get a good deal on one of these, get it!
I've been driving my '02 325XI for about a year. It was kind of on impulse; it was a used car on sale at the Saturn dealership where I was servicing my ION (process that for a second, if you will...). I got the Manual which is a little tricky to get ... read more

Pros: Fast as hell, awesome exhaust sound, tremendous braking, unflappable handling, comfortable and prestigious Cons: Convertible top rattles some, suspension a bit stiff for rough roads or casual driving The Bottom Line: The M3 convertible is the fastest, most beautiful, and most prestigious convertible sports car out there. Plus it has a back seat and even a decent trunk.
I bought my 2002 M3 Convertible slightly used, with 15,000 miles on it. The steel-gray color is beautiful and by far the best color out there -- cooler looking than the carbon black and FAR better than the boring, too-common silver. I opted for the ... read more

Pros: Fun solid car, reliable, quick. AWD is the feature that won me over. Cons: Interior ergonomics and design is uninspired. The Bottom Line: Good buy, but consider and test drive Lexus models which are lower priced. I may have gotten one of these but they do not have AWD.
I've had this car for over a year now. I haven't had any problems with it and the engine has started every time I have turned the key. Driving is lots of fun, however, most of my driving is not on long winding roads along the coast of California; it's ... read more

I recently traded in my 2001 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T for an almost new 2002 BMW 330xi. My wife really didn't like the Audi's safety record (although the new version did better) and I wasn't thrilled with the turbo lag (very small but still there).

Pros: Outstanding engine, world-class handling, great brakes, crisp steering, comfortable interior, solid as a rock Cons: Sport suspension can be harsh on some roads, um......... Prior to purchasing this M3, my dad had a 1998 E36 M3, which we took to area driving schools. This M3 is so much different than the previous M3. This E46 suspension is much tighter than the E36 suspension, not to say that the E36 suspension was loose, ... read more
