Pros: Sporty looking, easy to maneuver, dark tinted privacy windows Cons: Would prefer metal at very bottom of front bumper instead of hard plastic The Bottom Line: I am starting to have doubts; my update is at the bottom of the review.
In February of this year we bought our 3rd 2-door 4-wheel drive Chevy Blazer. We still own the 1997 model but sold the 1999 due to it having the rough ride ZR2 suspension. Our 2002 Chevy Blazer has the touring suspension. It is ...

Pros: Value, comfort, sound system, great poor weather maneuverability, steering, space, cruise control, engine, repair rate. Cons: Gas mileage is poor if you don't ease off the gas pedal. The Bottom Line: Excellent automobile, excellent value, great truck without all the complaints you usually hear from the driver of a real truck. Never had a single problem with the car.
GOOD VALUE As I returned my 2002 Chevy Blazer to the dealership upon the end of its lease, I was a bit choked up because I realized that I would never again have a car that was so great for such a great price. REPAIRS I never had a single complaint ...

Pros: Comfort, size, power, sound system, brakes Cons: no leather option on 2 door model, bad gas mileage The Bottom Line: This is the best truck I have ever driven and is the best mid-sized SUV out there!
Wow, I am so far very impressed with this vehicle. While it only has about 900 miles on it now it has proven itself to be quite capable in any situation I have encountered with it. It is the two door, two wheel drive version, which is the lightest. It...

Pros: Looks great, nice interior Cons: Engine, engine, engine!!! The Bottom Line: The Blazer is a poorly made, very unreliable vehicle, with horrible warranty protection.
When we bought this truck not long ago, we were filled to the brim with excitement. It looked great on the lot, our test drive was so smooth, and it fit all three of our car seats, which, frankly, was a big selling point for us as the parents of 3...

Pros: Easy driver, good looking, dependable Cons: Somewhat of a gas gulper The Bottom Line: Can't get them like this anymore, now it’s large tennis shoe looking things, lots of plastic. My little pretty one will probably stay with me until one of us dies.
I've got a 4 door 4x drive, with 47,000 and not had a bit of trouble. The turning radius is great, parks easy. Everyone comments that it rides very well for a 4x SUV, wait until I replace the stock Goodyear Wranglers with some nice Michelins and then ...

Pros: size, comfort, power, sleek looks Cons: BAD GAS MILEAGE The Bottom Line: dont waste your time with the all filler no thriller xterra. this choice will make alot more sense in 5-7 years
The 2002 chevrolet blazer is probably the best suv in its price range. I spent and entire day test driving every suv on the market from the sante fe, the underpowered and overpriced xterra to the ford explorer. Chevy's blazer is the only one that had...

Pros: Safe as a tank! Cons: Could use better gas mileage.
I had a 1992 Chevy two-door Blazer and finally had to say goodbye to it. I just bought a used 2002 and love it as much as my old one. I feel safe in it, having been hit many times by drivers that do not know how to stop at stop light, I can confirm it can take a lot of banging with no damage. Except for the fact that today I would like better gas mileage, I love my Blazer and would hate to not be able to buy another one in about 8 years.

2002 Chevrolet blazer, great used vehicle

Pros: Power dependable handling roomy Cons: gas mileage
The 2002 Chevy Blazer is a great ride. Very comfortable both on and off road. I bought this to travel to and from work. I love the smoothness and power it provides, but the bad thing about it is the terrible gas mileage. I know its not a 4 cylinder but for a 6 it still burns up a lot of gas, even on the highway. Still it has been very reliable and always get me where i need to go. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is not traveling a great distance on a daily basis if you are concerned with gas mileage. But at the same time i have taken a few trips in this car and experienced plenty of comfort that made the gas money worth it.
