Pros: Strong performance in all respects, Interior design, Price, Fuel economy Cons: No 6-speed manual, Could use a little more power, Controversial rear end styling. The Bottom Line: With good pricing, quality, performance, good looks, and being very easy and fun to drive, the 2002 Mustang GT is not only recommended for enthusiasts, but for everyone.
Over 40 years old now, the Mustang is still going strong; according to Ford, sales have reached over 150,000 units for 2002 alone; people continue to flood into showrooms to get the 'best bang for their buck'. The Mustang for 2002 comes in 4 models, ...

Pros: Great retro-styling and powerful engine. Lots of fun to drive Cons: Sitting in either the front or rear is not comfortable. Could improve sound system.
The Bottom Line: If you put aside the fact that sitting in this car may not be too comfortable, this is a fun car to drive around.
Giddy-Up! Ford Mustang 2002 convertible. A few years ago Ford redesigned the Mustang and gave it back some its mid 1960 classic look, I never really understood Ford's decision to drop the so popular style of the 60's Mustang. I always thought ...

Pros: Solid, reliable, good handling, adequate power Cons: Interior quality, styling, high curb weight The Bottom Line: Very good car, but not a particularly better buy than it's rivals.
Ah, yes, the Mustang. One of the staples of the American vehicle industry. For years, Ford has dominated the pony car market since the introduction of the Mustang, and long has it outsold other rivals (including superior ones). Like an certain white mp3 ...

Pros: Performance and fun-to-drive quotient. Cons: Squeaks and rattles. The Bottom Line: For the price, this is a great car that's a lot of fun to drive that makes up for what it lacks and some of its problems.
I feel, that since I have had my Mustang seventeen months and have put on just shy of 26,000 miles, I can make a fair assessment of this vehicle. I have a laser red 5-speed GT convertible with the premium package and a beige leather interior and beige...

Pros: Classic styling, one of the last true pony cars, plenty of power and FUN Cons: Limited room for the 6'+ crowd, brake scoops overdone, backseat for children only. The Bottom Line: For seriously fun driving around town without breaking the bank, I'd recommend looking at the 2002 Mustang GT. Just don't expect to put your friends in the backseat.
I'd been riding a motorcycle exclusively for eight years, when I decided the time had come to get back on four wheels for awhile. The mean streets of Phoenix, Arizona are not known for their kindness to two-wheelers.
I had looked at a number...

Pros: Cool looks, fun to drive, great sound system, powerful Cons: Kinda small inside for a larger person, backseats lacking any comfort The Bottom Line: This is a great car if you want something fun, but also safe to drive, and not compact inside.
When my 1998 Plymouth Neon started giving me hard times, it was time to think about what other car I would want to drive.
Since the BMW 330Ci coupe was way out of my price range, and the celica and eclipse both were cute, but so was the neon,...

Pros: Price, styling, features & handling. Cons: Nothing I can think of. The Bottom Line: In a nutshell...excellent handling, good performance, aggressive looks, sporty feel, great price!
I bought my 2002 Mineral Grey GT at June 1st. I had owned a 1998 GT and loved the performance for what is classified as a mid-performance vehicle. When I bought my new car I expected nothing less. I have been doing a lot of city / highway driving and I...

Pros: Solid, smooth, good value Cons: V6 Auto could use some zip... The Bottom Line: If your looking for fun --not practical --but fun then this is your car!
After reading the other reviews I bought a 2002 Mustang convertible with V6 and Automatic. It came with leather seats, upgraded sound system. My overall impression differs from the other reviews in several ways 12 months later: 1) I have not found the ...

Pros: Power, style, bang for the buck, easy to maintain for do-it-yourself'ers Cons: Features, dealership support, stiff/hard ride at low speeds The Bottom Line: Great car for fun and performance buffs, not for daily driver or family
This is my third Mustang and I've never bought one based on it's reputation for quality or functionality. It's always been for the love of the styling and getting a great, fun ride for a relatively low price. While the power plant in these cars is ...

I have been in love with the Ford Mustang, since I first owned a 1965 Mustang, which I purchased used when I got out of the U.S.Army in 1970.The ford Mustang was at the top of its class then and has remained there throughout the years.Other sporty cars...

Pros: Looks great, Handles well, Huge aftermarket, Quick and Fun to Drive Cons: A little light in the rear end-- which tends to bounce when cornering hard The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who has inner race car driver within themselves, because it will be exposed when driving this car.
I want to first give an introduction on how I became a Mustang owner. I was never really much of a car enthusiast, but that changed quickly when the opportunity to own such a classic vehicle was presented to me. It was during the summer of 2005 ...

Pros: Legendary looks; Muscle car image; Comfy leather interior; Attention the car demands. Cons: Fight involved in putting the roof back up; Rear cabin leg room. The Bottom Line: This would be my number one choice if I lived in USA. I would love to try the GT as i'm sure it must better the already legendary 3.8 unit.
"awesome" - if I had to describe the 2002 Mustang in one word that would surely be it!
The 2001 Eclipse Spyder Convertible I rented 6 months prior was very nice and had a slightly better build quality, but the general image and feel of the...

Pros: Stereo Handling Looks Power
Classic appearance/ design
Fun to drive Cons: Trunk Space Interior Options Gas Mileage The Bottom Line: If you are single, no kids, get the Mustang. It has stood the test of time, virtually shutting down all other "pony" car builders.
I am loving my 2002 premium coup mustang. I have the silver body with the dark charcoal interior. I must admit however, after owning a white 1998 pony, I was disappointed to see the interior had not changed much at all. The same simple, plain interior ...

Pros: Great style and performance. Cons: Initial problems - in shop 5 times so far for the same problem The Bottom Line: Bottom line, a purchase we would make again in a minute.
We purchased our 2002 Mustang GT (5 speed) back in June of 2002 (we also own a '99 Cobra - purchased after the 2002 GT). Finding the color combination we were looking for, while not difficult, turned out not to be a common option (as we expected it...
